Security camera systems are the best source to keep a proper check on the security of your company or office through these camera systems. Hidden security camera and security camera systems enable individual and business persons to maintain and ensure security at the working place and also at residential area where security is needed. Much advancement is being made in technology to improve it more and more. In an expanding business it is necessary for a businessman to keep a proper check on every single thing carried on. It is not possible for any businessman to spend time in looking for every small thing, that’s why it is more comfortable to use the Video Surveillance system in business. Along with the video surveillance system, security and hidden camera systems are advisable.
Hidden camera systems are mostly used in the finance departments of any company, banks, ATM’s and treasury department of the bigger companies. It enables the owners and concerned authorities to assure the safety of cash, gold biscuits, jewels etc. These things are kept in safety but a proper watch over its security is surely required. In an ATM if anyone tries to make a theft the person he/she can be recognized through the System. Many fraudulent people are being caught in banks and malls through this System. It has now become a necessity everywhere to avoid any kind of new sense by anyone. These systems have helped and can help in controlling theft in banks, ATM’s, Treasury and financial department in any company.
Security camera system is now a compulsion in big malls, important places, historical and famous places to assure safety from everywhere and keep a check on the safety of the place. Sometimes it fails due to the know how of the camera present as the fraudulent people destroy the camera or cover it by any thing to avoid being recognized, in this case the system that can be useful is hidden camera system. Under the system the camera is been hidden at any particular person which is not known to anyone. This enables more secrecy in keeping watch and catching the fraudulent people without their knowledge regarding the location of the camera. The system covers the wrong acts that are performed by escaping the security camera.
Hidden camera system must also be placed in companies, banks; ATM’s to assure complete safety. An alarm system should also be placed along with the camera system so that in case the guards not be able to concentrate for few minutes, the alarm strikes and catches attention of the concerned authorities in case of any threat to the safety of the place. The camera system is boon if properly and correctly being used in different sectors and it can prove itself as curse if the technology reaches to wrong person who will definitely use the technology in creating new sense in the life of others. This should not be the case; it is clearly a misuse of the available sources. Wrong people won’t ever think to use the technology for the benefit of others, society etc. rather will think about the way they can trouble other people.

Home video surveillance systems cover an array of home security apparatus. Visible cameras, concealed cameras, wireless cameras, web integrated cameras, spy cameras, wall mounted motion sensing cameras, and even infrared cameras all fall within the auspices of home video surveillance systems.
Concealed or hidden cameras are an excellent consideration for the inside of one’s home. Protect your valuables, monitor babysitters, or even monitor your children while you’re away at work via a web enabled broadcast. Home video surveillance systems like hidden or spy cameras come in a smorgasbord of shapes and sizes. Some come disguised in the form of pens, teddy bears, even flower pots. You can also purchase the miniscule camera mechanism and implant it into your decoy of choice. Remember if you run into any trouble during the installation process or any technical problems to call a professional.
Some wireless models come equipped with motion detectors. That is especially important if you are a business owner and want to monitor your property after hours. In that case an infrared wireless model equipped with motion detection would be what you desire. Remember that your cameras work better in ‘teams’. Three cameras are the optimum number when dealing with home video surveillance systems. Focus each camera on a zone that is complimentary to its team mates. Keep in mind that some cameras have swivel and panning features; plan accordingly to cover every angle.
Hidden cameras or spy cams are very excellent considerations for the inside of one’s home. It is important to protect your valuables. You can monitor babysitters or you can even monitor your children yourself while you’re away at work or in the home office with the aid of a hidden camera or spy cam. Spy cams come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Some come disguised in the form of children’s toys or even as normal household appliances. The varieties are endless out there and it bears on the consumer to make the appropriate choice for his or her needs.
For homeowners considering installing home video surveillance systems, they can benefit greatly from consulting free of charge with any local security or surveillance company. There are free forms that they provide that will aid you in gauging what type of surveillance system would best suit your needs. These forms take into account lighting considerations, ambient sounds and motion and the size of the area you are going to be monitoring. Always remember that if you are having difficulties, technical or otherwise, the wisest thing to do is to consult a professional.

Well, hopefully everyone had a good holiday weekend. Back to work and the Monday blues. Monday is always a crazy busy day for us, but luckily we have all our taxes done and behind us. We had the joy of fixing our air conditioning thermostat this weekend, but had it fixed just in time to have some family over for Easter. My hubby’s uncle was not able to come down this year because when they woke up, they were shocked to find that the Easter bunny brought them a baby donkey! They hadn’t a clue their donkey was pregnant! What a neat surprise that was, so they named her “Easter”.
Even though it’s hard to get back to work, as most of us enjoy being home, there’s a way that we can still check on our home and be there in a way when we are at work thanks to the internet and modern technology! There’s a handy little USB DVR Computer Surveillance Hardware device that turns your home or office computer into a global-wide video surveillance system in less than 5 min.. You just connect this little device to any desktop or laptop via USB port. Then you may record live footage from the camera connected to your computer’s hard drive. You can add up to four cameras.
I am sure most of you that see the news have seen the video this past week from a lady who was at work at the time when she saw her home get broken into and the thieves inside. She immediately called the cops and let them know what was going on as it was all happening. If you haven’t seen it on your local news, here’s the video, it is absolutely surprising!
For those of you that have trouble finding something for that special someone, perhaps your mom for Mother’s day, you know, the person who has everything…home security products make wonderful gifts! A USB DVR can be used with any of our cameras. Hidden cameras are really unique in themselves.

When I think of Texas, I think about one of my favorite TV show, Cheaters. It seems though as if all the shows are done in TX. Texas is known as the “Lone Star State”, and it is the second largest state in the U.S. in population and area! I’ve never been to the state of TX, but my husband has. He spent time there on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio for basic training and Sheppard Air Force Base for his “Tech School”. He couldn’t tell me much about it since he was pretty much confined to the air force base when he was in Texas. This is another state I’d love to see some day.
I am talking about Texas here, because I’m going to inform you about a fatal robbery that happened there recently. This story had nothing to do with anybody cheating, even though the hidden cameras we offer go hand in hand! It happened in a pawn shop. Three of the suspects demanded the money from the clerk, then they shot him in his head. The thieves stole a few shotguns and also a vehicle. There was no description of the robbers for the police to work with, and the poor family can only grieve and simply hope to somehow find justice. If they had a good surveillance system already in place, they very well may have arrested them by now and could also keep them from harming more people in the near future.
Sometimes I hear others say that they’d like to have some type of system in place, but where do you begin, and what should they get. As a security system extraordinaire, I definitely recommend a 4 Channel Wireless USB DVR Surveillance System. It’s an excellent choice for your home or business surveillance needs, and you save getting these items as a “system” rather than each individually.
It includes one USB Digital Video Recorder, four Day/Night Color Wireless Bullet Cameras, and four 2.4 GHz Video Receivers. The USB DVR is surveillance computer hardware that turns your home or office computer into a very powerful, global-wide video surveillance system in 5 minutes or less.

Increasingly video-based surveillance and security systems are being widely adopted by both corporations and consumers primarily due to increasing need for surveillance in these turbulent times but also due to affordability of security systems, ease with which surveillance systems can be installed and value-add features such remote monitoring that address special surveillance needs. As a result video-based surveillance systems are increasingly appearing in public areas such as airport lounges, shopping centres, retail stores, colleges, universities, manufacturing facilities and corporate offices. These video surveillance systems can be CCTV or IP based. Consider the benefits that a video surveillance system provides and the broad adoption by the market is quite understandable. A surveillance and security system:
· Helps deter employee theft and shoplifting theft,
· Helps monitor & document performance in manufacturing or other facilities resulting in potential reduction in maintenance cost and/or employee productivity improvement,
· May help reduce insurance cost and fraudulent liability claims, and
· Can continuously document events so your entire business has greater protection.
Reasons for Large LCD Monitor Adoption:Within these surveillance systems packages, large LCDs monitors (>42”) are becoming the industry norm. The reasons being:
· Size: Large screens allow for continuous and simultaneous monitoring of multiple camera video feeds on one screen with clarity. Smaller screens require that the images from the video feeds to rotate creating holes in the monitoring data.
· 24×7 Operations: Professional LCD monitors are meant for 24×7 “round the clock” operations with long life. CRT televisions or Plasma television each have their issues with round the clock operations such as static or flicker for CRT televisions. Also, the life of a CRT or Plasma TV is much shorter when operated in 24×7 operation mode as compared to an LCD monitor. CRT and Plasma televisions are built to be on for a few hours per day.
· Picture Quality: Most large LCDs are high definition. High definition LCDs provide better picture resolution, better contrast ratio, high brightness, high colour reproduction and fast response time resulting in better picture clarity which is especially helpful when the camera is being zoomed in or multiple images are viewed simultaneously. High Definition LCD TV allows you to view minute details like number plates of a speeding car, face of a person etc. Further, the non glare feature of LCDs allows for easy viewing in ambient light or where there is background light being reflected on the screen. It is harder to reduce glare in CRT or plasma televisions. Most new LCDs have 176° viewing angle, making it easy for viewing. Check the viewing specifications to make sure meets your quality requirements.
· Robustness: LCDs generate less heat than a CRT or Plasma television. The fan-less design for most large LCD monitors results in a closed box display with less noise. The fan-less design and the closed box display also results in less dust entering the system and provides for a more robust architecture.
· Space: LCD monitors are flat panel displays requiring less space than normal CRT TVs. They can be wall mounted. The LCD monitor can be encapsulated in a fire retardant frame to protect the display
· Better Video and Data Merger: Increasingly programs are being utilized to identify theft or issues in real time and data is being merged onto the video stream in real time. LCDs provide for better merging and viewing of data with video.
· Remote Monitoring and Operation of Large LCD Screens: Alarms can be set if an LCD screen is switched off. Power and other controls can be monitored remotely. For example, an energy saving feature can be activated so that when there is no signal, a power save mode is activated to reduce the brightness of the LCD backlight.
· Value-add Features: Value-add features such as touch screen zoom-in /zoom-out and image swap or other functions such as internet access can be easily found or added onto LCD monitors.
Purchase Consideration When Buying a Large LCD Monitor: Besides price there are a few items to consider when purchasing an LCD monitor.
· Match LCD Monitor to Camera Capabilities: If you buy a monitor with lower resolution than the cameras installed then the camera capabilities will not come through. Ideally the monitor should be equal or better resolution than the camera. Also, if the cameras are black and white, then a black and white monitor can be used.
· Input /Output Connectors on the Monitor: With the increasing use of PC and digital video devices, it is important to have both analog VGA and digital DVI input terminals to the monitor. Also, be sure that the monitor has BNC connectors for direct connection from a video feed to the display. BNC connectors support video looping, which provides output (loops back) to a centralized recording facility (DVR) or to other displays in a daisy-chain pattern. When scrolling through different images, this allows for seamless integration between pictures.
· Picture Quality Features: Consider the resolution, contrast ratio, brightness, colour reproduction and response time to meet your surveillance need.
· Value-add Features: Consider the value-adds that address your need. Such as, do you need remote monitoring, touch screen capability, or internet access?
Make the knowledgeable decision and your surveillance system can address your needs for many years.

You can never be too sure about safety, even at home. It is not even about paranoia, it is just making sure that you and your loved ones are secured and protected from any unfortunate events. One way to do this is through a video surveillance system. These days, homes are becoming more equipped with digital surveillance systems too, because the prices have become more affordable. Now, everyone can feel safer with surveillance cameras, even at home.
Home security surveillance systems have become more common among modern households. Homeowners can use concealed or those visible home security cameras and install them in strategic areas within the house. Home security monitoring is also possible even outside the house since there are products that are weatherproof too.
There are several reasons why there is a huge demand for the best home security system:
• Videos captured from the surveillance cameras are evidence against any crime that might have been committed inside the house.
• Home security systems deter people from doing anything criminal.
• Spy cams or nanny cams can be used to discreetly monitor the babysitters when the parents are out of the house for work.
• The kids can be monitored through the home video surveillance systems
• Digital surveillance works for teenagers, elderly, or sick stuck at home. The cameras can be placed at the porch so they can easily spot the person ringing the doorbell. Any suspicious movements can be easily viewed through a monitor if the person is a stranger and call for help immediately.
Before you go out shopping for your home surveillance system, you should first learn about the basic concepts. This will help you understand what the salesman will be talking about when you meet him face-to-face. It will help to arm yourself with some technical information so you can also choose properly according to your needs at home.
There are so many choices for video surveillance systems. There is one for every need and for every kind of budget. If you are looking for more sophisticated options, it shouldn’t be hard since a lot of these security systems are available in the market. It is just a matter of matching the requirements with the products.
There was a time when only businesses and public areas have these kinds of security installations. Schools, liquor stores, 24×7 marts, gas stations, banks, ATMs, and fast food drive-through lanes are usually equipped with digital surveillance systems. Casinos, huge and small need to install these to catch thieves and cheaters.
At home, some may think it would be over-reacting but, you can never be too sure about safety even at home. In fact, this should be the safest place for everyone and it is just right to properly equip it with the right home surveillance system.
It could be wired, or a wireless home alarm that sounds off when motion is detected at the doorway during the night. It could be a simple spy camera that lets you monitor what’s going on inside the house while you are out. Home surveillance is important and it should be a standard safety precaution.
If you are looking for a home surveillance system to protect your family, you should consider using the MOIE Digital Surveillance System. It will be available for purchase in March of 09.

H.264 or MPEG-4 Part 10 (Advanced Video Coding) is an industry standard for video compression, this is the process of converting digital video into a format that can achieve very high data compression. So far Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 part 2 are the compression standards that are widely used in surveillance industry. With the use of H.264 video compression codec, surveillance industry could see a drastic change in the way CCTV systems are used. With the use of H.264 video compression codec surveillance equipment could see itself taking a major leap in terms of usage of storage space, better image quality and transmission of video.
Video compression codec H.264 involves encoding and decoding processes. The video encoder performs the process of encoding and transforming the video to H.264 bit stream and in turn the decoder decodes the bit stream and delivers the original content. If you are interested in complete process of how H.264 works please visit the resources listed below. The whole process is very accurate and reduces storage space by more than 50% without compromising on the image quality when compared to Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 Part 2. It also delivers same quality if not better images per bit rate when compared to MotionJPEG/MPEG-4 Part 2.
By using the video encoders which support H.264, an analog system can be integrated into more efficient and powerful IP based video surveillance system. This enables the system to deliver better image quality with higher resolutions, frame rates and multiple streaming capabilities, decreased bandwidth and storage requirements. Video analytical applications can be used with the converted video increasing effective usage and management of large-scale video systems such as big shopping malls etc. The use of H.264 modeled systems will have a greater advantage in surveillance industry in the near future and will encourage the use of Megapixel cameras whose biggest challenges are requirement of large storage space and huge usage of network bandwidth.
