PC3200 is another way of writing PC400 or DDR 400. All those specify that the bus speed of the RAM module is 400MHz. PC3200 is DDR Sdram that works at 400MHz.
PC3200 is one kind of RAM or random access memory for the computer. Several different types of RAM exists; for example PC100, PC133, PC2100, PC2700 and now PC3200. Each one or the number represents a particular megahertz bus system. If you want to upgrade your ram make sure to look for PC 3200 on the chip to assure that it is completely compatible with your bus system.
DDR- acronym for Double Data Rate-Synchronous DRAM, one kind of SDRAM that supports data transfers on both edges of each clock cycle (the rising and falling edges), in reality doubling the memory chip’s data throughput. One advantage of DDR-SDRAM is that it consumes less power, which makes it perfect for notebook computers.
Memory speed, usually expressed either as DDR 400 or PC3200, does prove to be the most crucial factor, but, and it’s and big but, memory latencies are almost as important. Memory latency can be explaind as the time required in clock cycles for a RAM module to perform a certain task. Less the latencies, therefore, the more faster the RAM is able to process out data back to the CPU.

Do you fight all of the time with your kids in order to check on what they are doing on the internet? I felt like a complete nag and even when I got an answer out of them, I wasn’t sure if they were telling me everything.
I know how easy it is to go from one site to another on the internet. Every site is filled with links to more and more sites. You know what I mean. You are on one site, and you click a link that looks interesting. You may do this several more times and before you know it, you are so far from where you started and you don’t even know how you got there.
I know that this has probably happened to you too. Well, if this happens to us, it must happen to our kids too, right? Will their judgment be as good as ours if they end up with something in front of them that they shouldn’t be looking at. Will they immediately close it? Or even worse, will they save it and go back to it once they have found it?
I know that my kids don’t try to do what I warn them not to, but the internet makes it so easy to end up in places that they shouldn’t be in. What can you do? Can you sit and watch them every minute that they are online?
This just isn’t reasonable.
I looked and looked and did sample trials of several different types of software before I found just what I was looking for. Did you know that there is a way that you can monitor where they have been and who they have been talking to without their having to know that you are doing this? This doesn’t make you sneaky or dishonest. After all, you are only trying to keep them safe.
Here is what I do. When the kids get off of the internet, I just scan through the sites that they have been on that day. If everything looks okay to me, there is no need to talk about it. I can also trace what they have written and their passwords if necessary. Again, my intention is never to prevent them from privacy so if they are just communicating with their friends, I don’t even read what they have written.
But, when I come across something that doesn’t look right to me, I talk to them and get them to tell me what they have found or who they have met. I never have to tell them that I already know, but by knowing, I can get them to have a conversation with me and get them to understand how dangerous it is to communicate with people they don’t know or be on sites that they should not be on.
I am a concerned parent worried about how I can best keep my kids safe on the internet. I searched and searched and came up with the best best parental interned control software available. Read more about this product that I highly recommend. In fact, don’t take my word for it, try it for FREE for 7 days.

The ability to know where you are, where you want to go, and how to get there was once best found by using a paper map. If you were traveling in your car then there is a good chance you used either an atlas or one of those big tri-folded maps which really weren’t much help while trying to drive. Thankfully navigating the world today is easier thanks to the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the different types of GPS devices that use it.
If you are wondering how these GPS devices do what they do then read on. The Global Positioning System was created and implemented by the United States Department of Defense when it launched its first GPS satellite back in 1978. Today there are 24 satellites in the GPS network that are the cornerstone of the whole system.
There are several different types of GPS devices that are designed to take advantage of this constellation of satellites. GPS mapping devices are used to collect points and any data attached to those points for mapping purposes. In fact these devices have been used for years to collect the data that creates the maps and mapping features used by other GPS navigating systems.
Which brings us to the most popular consumer GPS device; the GPS navigating system. The most familiar of these is the in-car GPS unit that shows you map of where you are going and tells you through voice commands how to get there. These GPS devices are either mounted in the cars dash or are portable and can be moved between vehicles. Some navigational units offer a feature whereby you can find restaurants, shopping, hospitals, and accommodations regardless of where you are; this can be incredibly useful when hunting services in a town with which you are unfamiliar.
The smaller versions of these navigational units are handheld devices that can be used by backpackers, hunters, and other outdoor enthusiasts. These types of GPS units will keep track of where you are, leave a breadcrumb trail of where you’ve been, and will guide you to where you want to go. Many of these units also feature built in cameras and voice recorders, letting you keep a record of your journeys.
The last device we’ll discuss is a GPS tracking device. Much like in the movies these devices use the GPS satellite system to track objects to which they are attached. Many newer cars use these in the case they are stolen they can be quickly tracked and found. You can also find small GPS tracking units on certain cell phones, which can come in handy for the parents of teenagers.
There is a GPS device for just about any application and as the technology advances more features will come into being at lower prices.

Some people may wonder where it is that they can find streaming video clips and streaming video. When a person is interested in where to find streaming video, there are actually a number of different sources and locations that these individuals can consider. Some places of where to find streaming video are obvious, while other places may be more obscure to the individual when it comes to streaming video. First, we need to look at exactly what qualifies as streaming video.
Video is the medium that is used in the transfer of information, and we can all pretty much acknowledge that a video constitutes several different types of images strung together in a clip. Streaming video is a series of images that are constantly being streamed, or played and broadcasted, from a distinct initial source. There are many things around us that use streaming video. One of the most obvious places would be on the internet. Websites will either host streaming video, or videos that an individual can download. This is beneficial to the individual that is interested in watching a video or a video clip since they will be able to decide for themselves which is most convenient to watch.
VMukti is a highly scalable high quality and low cst multi-point unified communications, collaboration and conferencing software with built-in support for access to platform features through Personal Customizable Web Interface, Widgets for 3rd party websites, Desktops, and PSTN/ Mobile/ IP Phones. The Core Platform Features Include Audio/ Telephony, Multipoint Video Conferencing, Chat, File Search, Whiteboard, File-sharing, Presentation, Remote Monitoring & Controlling, Co-authoring, CRM, and more.
Having a choice between streaming and downloading simply opens up convenience and efficiency to the individual, which most people can appreciate. Still, there are other places that can spring to mind when an individual is thinking about where to find streaming video. Some of these places are just slightly less obvious.
The television is constantly playing streaming videos. Channels on the television are broadcasting images, which are picked up by each individual television. Many people may not realize that this is streaming video, but it is since each channel is being sent from a particular station, to the home that is watching that particular station. When a channel goes offline, on television, it is no longer to be considered as streaming. As soon as the channel or station turns on again, it is. Some channels never go offline unless there is a power problem. Another place that individuals may not realize represents streaming video would be security tapes and cameras. Security cameras will be capturing images, and then broadcasting them either over the internet or into a television set.
Once the video gets to its location, there will be a security guard screening them, in many cases, in order to help prevent problems in a home or store. Just like the television channels, the video cameras and televisions will only work utilizing the streaming method while the cameras are turned on and while the television is tuned to the channel that the video can be viewed on, completing the necessary connection. These are some of the more obscure places in which an individual would be able to find streaming videos to play. Streaming video helps to make people’s lives more convenient, so it can be very useful to know where to find streaming video in order to view the particular items a person is interested in viewing.

There are two types of projectors which are DLP Projectors and LCD Projectors. Both types have their advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of owning a DLP Projector is not having to change a dust filter that the LCD Projector has. The color images appear to be a little darker on a DLP Projector although there is no big difference in quality in our opinion. Video projectors is a term used for projectors that are equipped with XGA Resolution 1024×768 or higher. The term video projector can be used for the definition of any projector.
Projector screens come in several different types:
Electric Screens: Screens that can be controlled by remote control or by an electronic wall switch.
Manual Screens: Screens that are manually pulled up and down by a pull cord.
Tripod Screens: These screens are portable and have three legs that can be engaged and disengaged for easy and convenient setup.
Fixed Screens: These screens are fixed wall screens that you can hang on the wall. These screens are commonly used in the home theater screen arena.
Home Theater Screens: Typically home theater screens can be electric, manual or fixed wall. The aspect ratio on a home theater screen is 16:9 which a rectangle shape is. The 4:3 aspect ratio screens are used a lot in the business arena which is more like a square shape.
Fast Fold Screens: Portable screen mattes that are attached to a metal frame that can be set up with more stability than tripod screens.
Theater Screens: These screens come in a floor mounted case that are pulled upward and are attached to a rod. These screens are great for business presentations.
Recessed Screens: This type of screen is an electric screen that is embedded in a ceiling and is hidden behind doors that open and close.
Outdoor Screens: These are inflatable screens that are blown up with an air compressor and are supported by stakes.

The field of digital forensics is one that hasn’t received much press, until lately. With the onslaught of social networking sites, email/internet abuse and criminal cases involving computer files, almost everyone has a use for a computer forensics expert.
This field is thriving but it’s not one that a person can just jump into. Computer forensics is a very specialized field that requires years of experience and education in order to be successful.
There are many good schools one can attend, or even the military would be a good place to receive proper training. The skill set is much different than you might expect and you really don’t know what is involved until you start working. Even the most computer savvy individual wouldn’t do much good for a digital forensics firm on their first day of work.
Many people start off by finding internships, whether they went to school or not. You are much more likely to receive a good internship straight out of college but being at the right place at the right time doesn’t hurt either. Be persistent with a company that is offering any kind of position as on the job experience is really the only way to break into this field.
A computer forensics expert could be asked to do a large variety of jobs on several different types of cases. A large area of employment is from the police force. Forensics experts are brought on when a case involves anything with a computer, phone or other electronic devices that store and send information. Many of the cases involve sexual crimes and the illegal solicitation of pictures across the internet.
When a computer forensics expert comes in they first assess the case and establish what needs to be done. Once this is determined the acquisition of evidence starts. Forensic images are created of the relevant media to preserve and maintain the integrity of the evidence. Analysis then begins and all key evidence is determined and a strategy is put together. A report is generated to properly explain what information was found and how it is pertinent to that specific case. If needed, a digital forensics expert will be able to testify in court in a clear and concise way that benefits the client.
One can make a pretty good living doing solely criminal cases as once you become knowledgeable about court proceedings and how to properly handle yourself in a court room you will become a valuable commodity to many. Of course, it depends on your success rate and how well you are able to access relevant information on the job, but the right demeanor in court can take you a long way.
Many computer forensics experts don’t want to be in the spot light so they choose to refine their skills behind the scenes. Becoming proficient in the acquisition and analysis stages of a case can set you apart from the rest of the field. There is no set way to operate and finding new techniques and strategies will prove you to be a well respected professional in the field.
Federal Forensics Group is a trusted group of computer forensics experts that have established themselves as a leader in the industry of digital forensics. Years of experience and knowledge make them forerunners in the industry.

Only then can the team do the research and develop the new product in the most efficient way and highest quality possible. Industrial scales, like any other electronic equipment on the market, must also go through a similar engineering design process. Since digital scales are used in so many different industries, such as the food processing industry, the pharmaceutical industry, the cosmetics industry, the plastics industry, the semiconductor industry, and the chemical industry, there are needs for many specialized design features that must be engineered into an industrial scale depending on how the scale is being used.
One need that must be met in many industries is for a digital weighing scale to be able to survive extremely high shock loads. The most common transducer to be found in an electronic industrial scale is a strain gauge load cell. The load cell is made of a very carefully shaped block of metal that bends in a predictable way when a force is applied to it. Several strain gauges, resistors that are made up of flat metal wire that is folded up many times, are placed in various places on the load cell. When the load cell bends, the resistance of the strain gauge changes and a converter uses this change in resistance to report the amount of force that is being applied to the load cell. Many scale manufacturers use aluminum load cells in their industrial scales. Aluminum load cells are cheap to produce, but they also are very easy to damage when put under intense stress. When, for example, a load of heavy pallets is placed by a forklift onto an electronic platform scale, the load cells must be able to survive the shock load. Therefore, it is preferable to use load cells made of a stainless steel alloy. While these load cells are more expensive to produce, they are much stronger and resistant to bending than aluminum load cells.
In many industries, it is imperative that industrial scales be able to survive several different types of environmental hazards. In the chemical industry, drums and tanks of caustic chemicals may need to be weighed. However, the chemicals may eat away at the metal body of the electronic scales and even at the very important load cells inside. An excellent solution to this problem is to coat the body of the digital scale with a polyamine epoxy coating which is resistant to corrosion by even extremely caustic chemicals. These types of scales are known as corrosion resistant scales, or chemical resistant scales. Meanwhile, it is not possible to coat the load cell with this amino epoxy coating, since this will affect the load cells accuracy, so industrial scales used in this environment have been designed with the load cells positioned internally within the scale. Some industrial processes require flammable and explosive materials and chemicals. These industries require Explosive Environment industrial scales, like those manufactured by Arlyn Scales. These scales, which are approved for a wide range of explosive environments, are powered by a single, rechargeable C cell battery and are designed with several features that result in very low power usage. These electronic scales are called hazardous environment scales, or explosive area scales or intrinsically safe scales.
Weight data collection is a need throughout industry, meaning that industrial scales must be able to communicate with computers. Several solutions have been developed to solve this problem. An RS-232 communication port can be built into electronic scales for communication with computers. However, this protocol only allows one scale to communicate with a computer at a time. RS-485 allows more than one industrial scale to communicate with a computer. USB is also a very good option for scale-computer communications. However, often, a scale and the computer that it must communicate with are found in different parts of a factory. It is extremely expensive to fit a building with the necessary cabling. Therefore, Ethernet capability has been built into some of the most high quality scale lines, such as the Arlyn line. Many buildings are already pre-wired for Ethernet. Therefore, industrial scales with Ethernet capabilities can be plugged into the Local Area Network (LAN) and easily communicate with computers throughout the building. .

This guide has been designed to help you understand the demands of the ever expanding digital print market. In this article you will find an explanation of the technologies and applications and an overview of the products available.
History
Before the advent of large format digital printers exhibition graphics were produced using a combination of computer-cut vinyl lettering, traditional large-format photographic prints and specialist ‘Kentint’ photographic prints with or without overmounted photos. Large graphic panels which had multiple colours were difficult & costly to make.
Canon claimed to have produced the first inkjet printer in the 1980’s using the term “bubbleJet” to describe the way the ink was transferred to the substrate.
Digital colour production printing has advanced considerably since the appearance’ at IPEX in 1993, of the first Indigo and Xeikon digital presses.
Digital Printing in monochrome can be tracked back to a few years earlier when Xerox introduced their first Docutech.
Today digital printing is developing quickly with better speed at higher resolution. A study in the US by Tradewatch Research Consultancy predicts that in 5 years that the number of comercial printers with digital presses will increase by 234%
So What is Digital Printing?
The technical definition of digital printing simply refers to the transfer of electronic computer files directly to the paper (no need to create plates)
But digital print is not only based on its technology, digital is the result of a market need for data on-demand, fast turnarounds, variable data and short print runs which cannot be easily achieved using conventional offset printing or screen printing.
Digital Processes
There are several different types of digital print solutions and these will be explained in more detail in following articles, but all have some common traits.
The basic characteristic of digital printing is that is cuts out a number of steps involved in the non digital process. This gives the possibility of producing much smaller batches of printed matter quickly and cost efficiently.
How Does Inkjet Work?
Of the variety of inkjet technoloies developed, the one that has been most widely adopted is ‘drop on demand’ or DOD. Minute drops of ink are forced through the equally minute holes in the printhead, as they are required, to form the image on the paper or substrate.
The way in which the tiny ink droplets are formed and delivered onto the substrate fall into 2 different categories; Aqueous/thermal and Piezo. If you are buying medias for use in the digital print process it is important to take into account the following 2 factors; print head type and ink type as different products are recommended for each. The two main ink types are Water-based inks and solvent-based inks and within the solvent groups there is a further distinction between mild solvents (also known as eco solvents) and full (or aggressive) solvents.
Part Two will delve more deeply into the different print head technologies
and their associated inks. Guide to Digital Printing for Exhibition Stands and Digital Displays pt1

Getting a new furnace can be a difficult task. When it comes to furnaces there are several different types of systems and options to choose between. While a good contractor will help you find the right furnace you also want to do your own research to make sure you are making an informed decision.
Efficiency Level
The Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency or AFUE is used to rate most furnaces. The AFUE measures how much heat is delivered to your house in comparison to the amount of fuel that you need to give to the furnace. For example, an 80% AFUE rating means that 80% of the fuel you supply is used for heat while the other 20% is lost through the chimney. However, the AFUE will only tell you the fuel efficiency of the furnace and not the electrical usage.
As of January 1, 1992, the US Department of Energy determined that all furnaces need to have a minimum of 78% AFUE to be sold in the United States. Most furnaces have an AFUE rating of 80%, but high efficiency furnaces can have an AFUE as high as 90%. If you live in cold weather, areas the higher the percent rating the more money you save during cold winter months.
Choosing a Location
When choosing where to place your furnace the area in which you live plays a major role. For those in colder regions the best option is a gas or oil furnace or boiler. For those in a warmer region it may be a better choice to use a gas furnace or heat pump. If you don’t have a gas or oil service where you live then you may need to choose an electric heating system such as electric furnaces or heat pumps. If gas is available, but you home doesn’t have it then you may want to talk with a plumber about installing a gas line. Although if electric costs are cheap in your area then an electrical system can be a better choice. The best form of advice is to talk with a reputable HVAC contractor in your area. However, because of the low cost in most areas a natural gas furnace or boiler can be a good idea.
Heat Exchangers
When it comes to gas furnaces the most expensive and important part is the heat exchanger. Typically, a separate parts warrantee covers this part. This warranty typically covers five years, but some can be as high as ten to twenty years.
Choosing a Thermostat
If you aren’t home during certain parts of the day, it can be a good idea to consider getting a programmable thermostat. This way you can set your unit to a low temperature when you aren’t home and then have the house return to a comfortable temperature at a certain time before you arrive home. This also allows you to set temperatures different for when you are asleep and when you are awake. Many programmable thermostats can be set by the week so you can easily program it for specific days when you are home and those days that you aren’t home.

Don’t put all your eggs in one storage basket. Although we recommend always having a backup, some people seem to think that backup devices are infallable and hence start doing things like deleting original files from their limited space computers.
Backups fail too! Best practice is to always have two copies of your data at any given time and on a weekly basis, create a third backup at an offsite location. This is in case your premises get robbed or a major fire takes out all your equipment.
However, too many people seem to think because their backup devices have fancy names, they won’t fail and start using it as a primary place of storage. Don’t do that!
RAID failures
For the uninitiated, RAID stands for “Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks”. RAIDs are great as they have built in redundancy. The idea is that a RAID is never supposed to fail. In theory, it works out quite nicely but as someone who works in the data recovery business, I can tell you that we’ve been asked more than once to recover RAIDs. If they never failed, this would never happen.
There are several different types of RAIDs that work on different premises. Some have full redundant copies of data while others use varying data splitting techniques that will leave your data uncompromised should any one hard disk fail. For this reason, people have a misconception that RAIDs will never lose their data.
Consider this scenario. A RAID array is arranged with a “hot swappable” disk. This means that should one fail, the “hot disk” simply kicks in while the dead drive is getting replaced. As the part is getting ordered, the RAID is functioning for several days or even a week or two in high gear as there is one drive down. In all likelihood, when the RAID was installed, all the drives were sourced from the same place and are all on its last legs. Should a second drive fail while the first one is still on order, all the data stored in it will be gone.
Can’t happen? Think again. This scenario didn’t get made up. Even if the RAID goes down, in theory, it shouldn’t matter if individual computers still carried copies of the data it is supposed to backup. As the RAID system became a dependable place for storage over the years, we’ve seen people get complacent and delete original data off their smaller capacity computers and depend solely on a single source of storage.
Cloud computing
Storing on a cloud is again another great way to backup data. However, be cautioned against using a cloud location as primary data storage. Consider the case of Carbonite. The online backup company is suing its hardware provider for what they claim is defective firmware. Wherever the fault lies, it is reported that data was still lost.
Anyone who used the online backup as primary storage would have lost data.
Backups are just that… backups.
You should always maintain a primary source of data somewhere in case backups fails. The likelihood of a backup unit failing is about as high as your primary unit failing. The likelihood of both going down at the same time is infinitesimally small. Always keep at least 2 copies of important data and don’t get complacent!
As a consultant with Revival Technologies, Terri works with clients in finding solutions to data loss prevention.

People tend to build different collections; one of the most common and popular, especially among men, is collecting antique guns. Guns have always a great appeal to men, but in any case vintage guns have a rather important historical value. This definitely adds to the interest and thrill of collectors. Starting a vintage guns collection is quite simple if you follow particular steps and tips.
Before starting building the collection you should always define what kinds of antique guns you want; what historical period would they reflect and represent? Deciding on that can be crucial because you can check online or find valuable resources that can inform you on the available guns from that particular time. A help guide is necessary at the beginning, because it can save money and time, especially when not experienced enough yet. You don’t need to spend serious amounts of money on wrong or unnecessary items.
If you are thinking to build a collection of world war guns, you can check the various gun shows that take place annually in different states; they usually feature large collections and selection of antique guns and they are even sponsored by accredited institutions. These exhibitions and shows can prove to be a very useful guide when building your gun collection. You can also acquire credible and accurate information on several different types of guns, the units that used them or historical facts related to them.
Among the avid collectors the most popular and appreciated antique guns are the ones that belong to different centuries, or the ones used in specific occasions and events. Some of the most known collectors in the world own guns from the beginning of the previous century, and some of them have antique photographs that depict the events that took place during this time.

Digital Video Interface is a relatively new type of connection that supplies unmatched video quality. DVI maintains the pure video signal in its digital form from satellite and DVI-equipped DVD sources to the TV monitor or projector, thus providing the very best picture quality available.
Since it is a developing technology, there is no universal standard for DVI-cables and we are left with several different types of DVI connections: DVI-I, which supports digital and analog, DVD-D and DVI-A, which support only digital and analog respectively, and Dual-link DVI-D, which supports digital with increased bandwidth. DVI-D cables are used for direct digital connections between source video and digital LCD monitors. This provides a faster, higher-quality image than with analog, due to the nature of the digital format.
All video cards initially produce a digital video signal, which is converted into analog at the VGA output. The analog signal travels to the monitor and is re-converted back into a digital signal. DVI-D eliminates the analog conversion process and improves the connection between source and display. DVI-A cables are used to carry a DVI signal to an analog display. The most common use of DVI-A is connecting to a VGA device, since DVI-A and VGA carry the same signal.
There is some quality loss involved in the digital to analog conversion, which is why a digital signal is recommended whenever possible. DVI-I cables are integrated cables which are capable of transmitting either a digital-to-digital signal or an analog-to-analog signal. This makes it a more versatile cable, being usable in either digital or analog situations. Like any other format, DVI digital and analog formats are non-interchangeable. This means that a DVI-D cable will not work on an analog system, nor a DVI-A on a digital system.
To connect an analog source to a digital display, youll need a VGA to DVI-D electronic convertor; to connect a digital output to an analog monitor, youll need to use a DVI-D to VGA convertor. Digital Video Interface (DVI) cables may be an option if you need to connect computer monitors or HDTVs for your business.
DVI primarily carries uncompressed digital data to a digital display. In practice, DVI most often connects computers, cable boxes and DVD players to digital displays, projectors and HDTVs. Since DVI carries a digital signal, its a better option than analog component and VGA connections.
D-V-I is the future of digital and high definition video technology, if you are a PS3 user and are wanting to experience high definition gaming then a DVI-cable is what you’ll need.
Buy from a reputable supplier, such as Lindy.co.uk to ensure your cable stands the test of time and doesn’t let you down mid-game!

Companies that sell products on the internet are often able to offer lower prices because they do not have to pay employees or maintain a store. This is true of companies that sell ink cartridges on line.
The drawback to this, of course, is that you can’t go and look or test something before you buy it. If you’re buying the original brand of cartridges for your printer, this doesn’t really matter since they will be the same no matter where you buy them.
If you’re buying discount cartridges, however, there could be a big difference in print quality from one brand to another. Not being able to see a sample of the results ahead of time might make it harder to know which ones you can rely on.
The most important thing to check when buying your ink on the internet is what kind of guarantee they offer. Reliable ink companies will give you a full money-back guarantee in case you’re not happy with the results.
If you get a good warranty then the company will refund your money not only for product defect but also if you are not completely satisfied with the product.
What is considered a quality print may differ depending on the person. It doesn’t matter if the print quality meets someone else’s standards. The only thing that matters is if you are happy with it. If you are not satisfied you want to be able to get a full refund.
Ink cartridges are made very specific to match each type of printer. You must be sure when you are shopping for a cartridge that it is designed for use with your specific type of printer. Check this carefully before you buy.
If a company offers an ink that they say will work with any printer their product is not trustworthy. These generic inks will most likely not function well no matter what type of printer you have. It is impossible to make an ink that is compatible with several different types of printers.
The best companies have specific cartridges or refills for each brand and model, and they will make it clear which ones are compatible for any given cartridge.
If you follow these few guidelines you will be able to enjoy the savings of shopping online for your printer ink while not sacrificing quality.
Planning to refill your Epson cartridges? You may need Epson chip resetter software to make them work properly. Get more information about this and other tips for saving money on your printing on the Inketeria website. Visit http://www.inketeria.com for more helpful tips & advice.

Are you avid sports fan? Looking for that perfect television for the Superbowl? But you are confused by all the techno jargon and the several different types of TVs available, and you are not all that sure you trust that salesman at the electronics store. Well here are a few tips and facts that will get you on the right track.
First of all, how big do you want to go. Recently Panasonic revealed a new 150″ plasma television. If you are looking for something that big, then the answer is easy Panasonic is your only choice. Of course you could buy a high definition projector and a screen, but then I’m not addressing projectors in this article. For purposes of simplicity, I’ll assume you are looking for a 50″ or larger screen.
Bottom line up front – Purchase a plasma and not an LCD; here’s why:
LCDs suffer more from motion blur than plasma TVs. They are improving, but plasma screens definitely have the upper hand here. Motion blur is the tendency of the picture to lose resolution where there is motion on screen. Guess what there is a LOT of motion in football. A plasma television would be preferable for any sports watching.
Plasma televisions have a better contrast ratio. is one the most important factors when it comes to overall TV picture quality. while LCD TV’s are improving their contrast ration and closing the gap, Plasma TV’s are simply have better contrast ratios.
LCDs have a narrower viewing angle. A football party will tend to have a lot of people, spread across a room. For this reason the plasma TV is a better Superbowl TV.
Of course plasma have some disadvantages. First, they can suffer from burn-in, that is where an area of the television “burns-in” if there is a constant image on the screen. This is predominantly a problem is the TV is used primarily for video games or a monitor. In this case we are assuming the TV will mostly be used for sports, so no problem here. Additionally, if you allow your TV to display a variety of programming for the first 12-14 hours of use, this greatly reduces the chance of the set ever developing burn-in
Plasmas are a bit heavier, if you are looking to hang your television on your wall, I’d make sure to screw the mount onto a wall stud, but then I’d recommend that for an LCD as well.
On the plus side, plasma’s also tend to be cheaper, especially as you get into larger sizes, since we are talking big screens here – that is a definite benefit. Plasma normally do not get any smaller that about 42″, but again we are talking big screens, so – no problem.
Other considerations :
Look for a 1080p resolution. Most newer sets are 1080p, so it should not difficult for you to find one. As the screens get bigger, the difference between a 720p television and 1080p becomes more evident. Since we are talking big, make sure you get a 1080 set. You may also see a 1080i resolutions, although they have the same number or pixels as a 1080p, they are refreshed about half as often, this can lead to a perceptible flickering. The difference in price is minor, so get a 1080p.
New 120hz Plasmas. Movies are filmed at 24 frames per second (fps), while TV programming is normally 30fps, since 120 is a multiple of both, they eliminate a slight juddering that can occur when watching movies. Since we are talking sports, you won’t get much benefit from 120hz. If you are planning to watch movies in addition to sports, or perhaps movies about football, you might want to pay a little extra for this, but since Plasmas don’t suffer from motion blur as much as LCDs, 120hz helps LCDs perform better more than Plasma screens.
Start your search for a plasma screen with Panasonic, in my opinion they hit the sweet spot between price and quality. You will get your money’s worth, and they make some of the best plasma screens available. If money is not an issue, and you want the best possible TV for the Superbowl, I recommend the Pioneer Kuro Elite TV’s they come in 50″ and 60″ and have what most video experts consider the very best picture on the market, and an excellent speaker system.

Most of us these days are aware of the fact that our electronic data is not secure. Anyone on the web with a little know-how could access our computer over the Internet and get into our files. To keep our electronic data safe it is important to remember to password protect your MS Office documents. Password protecting documents takes very little effort and will prevent important or sensitive files from falling into the wrong hands.
By placing a password on your important files you are ensuring that your documents are safe from those who would seek to exploit it, such as identity thieves. If you own a company you will want to do the same for your financial information as well as and documents that contain info about your clients. While you may not think it is important now, if the data should ever get stolen you will be thankful for it.
There is one small downside to password protecting your documents ” what happens if you lose the password to a file? While you probably like to write down the passwords to your documents somewhere, this is not very safe as someone could find them and all your documents would be at risk. At the same time if you dont write them down you run the risk of losing all your important data if you forget the passwords associated with the files.
This is where you need a password recovery tool. There are several different types of programs available that can help you get into your files. While some of them are free, you will have much better success with a licensed version of password recovery software as they offer more options and have more streamlined recovery algorithms.
There are many kinds of password recover programs, but most of them work in the same way. They will try to access the file by guessing the password. If your password is relatively strong it may take some time for the software to find the right combination of characters.
To start the program will work through the dictionary, combining each word with numbers or symbols if you request. If your password is an actually word, then you should have some luck here. Otherwise the software recovery tool will carry on to the next step, which is to try combinations of letters, numbers and symbols until it finds the right combination. The more complicated your password is, the longer the program will take to find the answer.
Finally the password recovery software can simply disable the password protection on the file. This is where you want to be careful, as once the password protection is removed then your files are again in danger. Ensure you quickly protect them again once you have got in, and remember the password this time!
While this type of software is a great tool to use when you forget your password, it should not replace whatever method you use to keep track of your passwords. Create a bomb-proof file with a long and complicated password to store the keys to your other files, and commit the password to this file to memory ” do not write it down, or if you do keep it in a safe place where no one will find it. Then you can rest knowing that all your files are safe and sound.
Password protecting your file can be a pain yes but think of the alternative. The next time you are password protecting your MS Office file which include: word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, etc you think if creating a separate secure password protected file to store all your passwords in. This way you can access them all with the simple use of one password.

The Apple Ipod has grown tremendously popular since its release in late 2001. In fact over 100 million of them have been sold to date with no sells drop in sight. There are many accessories for them such as speakers, earphones and carrying cases.
It has revolutionized the way we listen to our music. There are Ipods out on the market now that have more gigabytes than many brand new computers. Other mp3 player makers have modeled their mp3 players to resemble it’s competitor in appearance and functionality. There have been some slight problems associated with Ipods in the past though.
Issues over the audio volume came to the Apple imprint in the form of a lawsuit. Since then Ipods can be locked so the volume can’t pass a certain point. People had complained about the possibility of hearing loss if the player were turned all the way up. Even violence has been associated with the Ipod.
Due to the unique headphones that the Ipod has, people have become victims of robberies. The attacker can see your earphones and know that you have an Ipod which probably cost you a few hundred dollars. It is advised no to use the Ipod earphones if you are going to listen to music while you are out.

It is common practice for a health club to include complementary Ipods for use during work outs. One story out of India detailed of one woman’s fascination with her Ipod. She would eventually go on to married to the 30 gigabyte Ipod in a private ceremony. People caused a huge stir when they began to auction off the pre owned Ipods full of music. We have had to think about issues that were just impossible not that long ago.
Yet today, we are debating whether or not a person can sell a product that holds songs with song already stored on it. Nike and Ipod recent teamed up to make the Ipod shoe. One of the shoes has an Ipod stored in the sole of it. One of the biggest complaints with the cd players was the skipping whenever a person with move in a motion that didn’t agree with their cd.
The Ipod puts an end to that once and for all. This has got to be one of the biggest reasons many people switched from their cd walkman to the Ipod.

Motion detectors are everywhere. You have probably run across one at least once. There are many different purposes for these motion alarms, but the main purpose is for the person with the detector to be able to tell when someone is on their property.
According to Answers.com, they are a device that contains a physical mechanism or an electronic sensor that measures motion. It may either be integrated with or connected to other devices that alert the user of the presence of a moving object within their field of view. Some motion sensors use a simple form of detector radar to detect motion.
Now that you are familiar with motion detectors, let’s explore the different types that exist. There are actually several different types of detectors. The internet lists all different types of alarms, including infrared. These identify heat producing objects. This particular kind would keep the light and alarm from turning on if an inanimate object flew by.
If you are interested in something for inside your home or office for security reasons, then the ceiling mount type is an option. These cordless radar motion detectors can cover the entire room when mounted on the ceiling.
The most common use for motion detectors is home security. They are highly effective for many different reasons. When placed outside the home, many have a light that goes off at the sign of movement, and others will sound an alarm. This alerts the resident to the presence of someone on their property.
Businesses will sometimes use ceiling mounted detectors indoors. There are often rooms within offices that are off limits to certain people. Businesses, such as grocery stores and chain stores, also use devises to open doors to their establishments and motion sensors that use detector radar to tell them when individuals are approaching.
There are other, more creative, uses for motion detectors. They can be used with small children or the elderly to sense when they have left their bedroom at night. They can be used on outside doors, so that you will know when your teenager is sneaking in or out at night. Another great use for motion alarms is as a sensor by the pool, to allow you to know when some is near that area. It is a good idea to consider having alarms like these placed in your home. You will feel much safer knowing what is happening on your property.
