In Microsoft Windows based computer, your hard drive can be divided into several partitions. A Windows hard drive can have maximum four primary partitions as the size of partition table is limited to 64 Byte and every partition entry require 16 Byte of space. You can mark any of your primary partition as active by using the Windows Disk Management snap-in tool. But in some situations, after marking a primary partition as active, your system might not boot. At this point, all of the files stored on your hard drive become inaccessible and serious file loss situations take place. Windows data recovery solutions are required to sort out such issues. In a practical scenario, after you employ Windows Disk Management snap-in tool for marking the primary Windows partition as active, your system might not boot up and you might come across the below given error message:
“NTLDR is missing.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.”
This behavior of your Windows system renders all of your valuable data files, music files, images, application files and multimedia files inaccessible and result into file loss situations. In these circumstances, you need to find out the cause of this issue and go for windows data recovery by sorting it out.
Grounds of the issue
This situation might take place if the Windows partition, which is marked as active, doesn’t have Windows boot files or boot files for another OS. On the Intel-based computer systems, the system partition must be the primary partition, which has been marked active for the startup purposes. System partition must be situated on disk, which is accessed by your computer when it boots up. There could be only single active partition at one instance. When you like to use other operating system, you need to first mark the system partition active prior to restart the system.
Resolution
In order to fix this problem, use any of the below given methods:
Change active system partition by booting the system from floppy and then using the disk utility to change active partition.
Boot the system using Windows XP boot CD and use Windows Recovery Console to correct this behavior.
When all else fails, go for windows data recovery software to methodically scan the hard drive and retrieve all of the lost files. These software are quite easy to use and thus do not demand sound technical skills. Due to read only and non destructive conduct, these tools are completely safe to achieve absolute recovery.
Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery is the best ever made and the most powerful tool to recover all sorts of lost files. It recovers files from FAT32, VFAT, NTFS and NTFS5 file system partitions. This windows data recovery software is compatible with Windows 7 RC1, Vista, 2003, XP and 2000.

Fundamental disk storage in Windows supports partition-oriented disks. The fundamental or basic disk is a physical disk, which contains logical drives, primary partitions or extended partitions. Logical drives and partitions on basic disk also called basic volumes. All of your critical data, applications and operating system are stored and installed on these partitions.
If you are using Windows XP Professional and any earlier versions on same computer, you must use primary partitions as they can’t access data from dynamic disks. But in some situations, your hard drive partitions may become invisible and you can not even see them in Disk Management Snap-in. This behavior cause serious partition loss situations and need Partition Recovery to be resolved.
Consider the below given scenario. When you use Disk Management Snap-in on your computer, which is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Windows Server 2003 or Microsoft Windows XP, it might report that all of the hard drive partitions provided by OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) are available. However, you can not use Disk Management Snap-in to access them.
In some situations, you can not even enter to the Disk Management console. When you try to open it, “An internal error occurred. Restart DM snap-in” error occurs. When you attempt to access Microsoft Management Console via command prompt in Author mode for restarting Disk Management Snap-in, you receive the following error message:
“The console does not exist, this is not a Microsoft Management Console, or you do not have sufficient access rights.”
Cause
You might come across this behavior of Microsoft Windows because the LDM (Logical Disk Manager) service doesn’t mount the file system or allocate letter to hard drive partition. Thus, LDM service doesn’t know the size of disk partition. Furthermore, it can’t access the hard drive partitions. The ultimate result of this entire behavior is serious partition loss situations, which require Partition Recovery to be resolved.
The recovery is best possible with the help of Partition Recovery Software. These are powerful and advanced third party applications, which carry out systematic scan to entire storage media using efficient algorithms and recover all of the lost data. These applications come equipped with interactive user interface and do not demand high-technical skills from users’ side. The recovery process is quite safe as they have read only and non destructive conduct.
Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery is the most advanced and robust tool to effectively handle partition loss situations. It recovers FAT32, VFAT, NTFS and NTFS5 file system partitions and stored data. This Partition Recovery Software is designed for Windows 7 RC1, Vista, 2003, XP and 2000.
Author describes the partition loss which occurred at the time of Mounting of File System due to LDM Service incompatibility also gives some tips to prevent your data from loss at the time of partition recovery and suggested to use partition recovery software.

In Windows, a special session manger called Usetup.exe starts a mini-kernel mode phase, which is referred as text-mode phase of Setup. This phase is responsible for checking the system for basic hardware installed, creating file systems and registry and partitioning and formatting the drive for file systems. It also examines the hard disk for integrity. One of the peculiar symptoms that it shows while partition table is corrupted (specifically in Windows 2000) is when you try to upgrade your system; it displays few partitions that actually don’t exist on the hard disk. Since the partition table is damaged, you cannot access your data, thus require restoring from backup. But availability of valid and complete data backup is not must in all cases. Therefore, you should use data recovery software. to successfully scan and recover the lost information.
When you try to install Windows 2000 SP3 using Windows 2000 SP3 CD-ROM in text-mode setup, you observe that setup shows some partitions that actually don’t exist on hard disk. When you select a partition, its related options appear in its status bar at the bottom of screen. But if you select such non-existing partition, you don’t see the Delete option to delete it.
Cause
Windows 2000 setup is unable to read partition table information because it is corrupted. The similar behavior can also be seen on new hard disks that have not been partitioned yet.
Solution
To correct this issue, you need to repartition the hard disk and restore lost data from backup. You can repartition the hard disk using any of the below mentioned method:
• Use different version of Windows 2000 CD-ROM to start your system and use Delete option after selecting each of the listed partition
• You can also use Windows 2000 Setup boot floppy disk for this purpose
• Boot your system using startup disk and use Fdisk utility to repartition the hard disk
You can continue installing Windows 2000 SP3 Setup after restoring lost information using backup. This has been assumed that you have backed up all the important data to restore it later. While any violation in this case, you can simply scan your hard disk using data recovery.applications before performing any further task. data recovery software are powerful tools to recover lost data in any logical crash case.
Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery is the finest data recovery tool to restore lost data. It is an easy to use application with native support to Windows 7 (currently in RC 1), Vista, XP, 2003, and 2000. Everyone has a digital camera or device now days, allowing them to record those wonderful moments. It seems it gets easier all the time to lose pictures, either by deleting the wrong files or by memory cards breaking. One frequently asked question in the technology field, “Can I retrieve data from a broken memory card”?, and ” Do you think the pictures are gone permanently?” Well most of the time the answer to both is “possibly”. When your memory card is broken, it stands less of a chance of recovery. The memory card has such delicate components, and the smallest thing could lead to the loss of saved data.
These are more or less your options. Based on how a memory card is actually broken, can determine whether or not an easy out will be available. So, what do you do now? You put your trust in a product that is supposed to store and keep your pictures and data safe. In return you are left empty handed. Whether your memory card was lost, destroyed, or damaged, to most it is important that you recover your data. A memory card that has been burnt, or has extreme water damage, may not have any partitions left to try and save. Either way you are left wondering where to turn. Some things you should try before tossing your card for good:
Some ways to recover lost files are – download recovery software, take it to a photography developing place, or perhaps to a Radio Shack dealer or similar specialty shop. Even sending the memory card in to a professional data recovery service is suggested.
We suggest you simply try to download a free data recovery program at home first. There’s nothing to loose, except the high cost of paying someone to do it for you. Data recovery software is a non destructive and read only utility that enables you to recover lost images, music, video files, and other office documents from your memory card. Most times this can recover, and needs no further steps. This step may not apply to those severely damaged. In those cases, professional help may be the only option left.
Taking the memory card to a nearest photo developer may be an affordable option as well. You may simply walk in and ask if they can pull up anything. They may have a more advanced way of recovering your data.
Lastly, if none of the other options have worked, it is time to decide how valuable the files on your card are. It will cost quite a bit for a professional to recover them for you. In turn, they may not be able to recover them on account of the memory card being totally destroyed.
There are many ways to recover, and to prevent later loss of files, but always make sure you back up your files often. For most of us, pictures are irreplaceable!

“Extra space, where does it goes when we need it the most?” maybe you asked yourself when there is no room to spare to install that game you have just bought or when you want to backup your documents you have just copied from your friend’s PC. The best solution is of course to buy a more roomy hard drive. But if you want a momentary and critical solution to free your hard drive space, you can try some tips below:
1. Turn off your System Restore System restore can be a nice addition in a rainy day in case your PC shows an anomaly. What it does is creating a backup of several system states the number of which depends on the space we allocate to it. So the larger we allocate a space to System Restore, the more record of your system state can be recorded (such as installation, system alteration, uninstallation, driver update, etc.). Thus, it means that we can go farther back to find the safest possible state if in case some problem occurs in our system. But most of the time, we do not need so many recorded state of our system. Or even, we want to completely deactivate System Restore feature. If it is the case, you can follow these instructions:
First thing to do is to right-click ‘My Computer’ icon and select properties to go to ‘System Properties’. Inside, select ‘System Restore’ tab. In this menu, you will see all of your hard drives are listed. If you want to choose individually how big ‘System Restore’ uses each of your partition, you can select the desire partition and then choose ‘Settings’. Inside, you can choose disk space used by System Restore. Just slide down to ‘Min’ side to free the most out of your space. If you want to simply set all of your partitions not to be used at all by System Restore just check the ‘Turn off System Restore on all drives’ check box at the upper side of the box.
2. Lowering your Paging File Size To lower your paging file or virtual memory size, go to ‘System Properties’ and select ‘Advanced’ Tab. Inside ‘Performance’ category, select ‘Settings’. Inside ‘Performance Option’, select ‘Advanced’ tab and click ‘Change’ under ‘Virtual Memory’ category. Here are listed all of your partitions. By default, Windows usually set this setting with ‘System managed size’. This means that Windows will set by itself the space that is required every an application requests a virtual memory. This means more flexibility. But sometimes, it could mean more time access. But in this article, this option only means one thing: inefficiency. So please select ‘Custom Size’ and set your own ‘Initial Size’ and ‘Maximum Size’. Please set the fix size for both categories. The size itself depends on your physical RAM memory. It’s about 150% higher. So if you have 1GB of RAM, we suggest to set it by 1500 (MB) both in ‘Initial Size’ and ‘Maximum Size’. And please also check whether or not the other partition spaces are also used. If it is, then set it to ‘No Paging File’. The objective here is to only use one partition as a virtual memory to safe some space.
3. Disable Hibernation Hibernation mode uses our hard drive space to store whatever it has in memory at the previous state before the PC start to hibernate. Disk space that is used for this feature to run varies in every PC. But it can eat as large as 2 Gigabytes. So be sure to disable this feature when you do not need it. To disable this function, go to your ‘Power Option Properties’ in Control Panel and simply look for the ‘Enable hibernation’ mode and uncheck it. You’re set.
4. Delete another Unused Users Account User account can store a lot of data that takes a lot of space of your hard drive. This happens especially if you often choose to install every program for all users, which means all of the settings and system configuration of that application will be saved in every user account. So delete the user account that you are not using it often, or the one that it is not important. Even if you just delete it and then recreating the same account (account with a same name) once more, this can make a difference in terms of disk saving. This is because all of the configuration files that has piled up are removed, and now you have a fresh account. But to delete a user account, the first thing you should ask yourself is that there should be no important document inside the account. If you are certain, then do the deletion. To do this, just go to ‘User Account’ menu. You can reach this menu by clicking the picture of your profile in the ‘Start Menu’ or via ‘Control Panel’ menu. Inside, you will be asked for ‘Pick a new picture for your account’ but press ‘cancel’ here. This action will take you to another menu of ‘User Account’. Take a notice on the left side bar menu, under ‘Related Task’ option select ‘Change another account’. Under ‘Pick an account to change’ select the user account to delete. This will take you inside the account. Select ‘Delete the Account’ here. You will be prompted to choose ‘Keep Files’, ‘Delete Files’, Or ‘Cancel’. Please ‘Delete Files’ to free more space. (But once again please make sure that there is no document that you want to keep inside this account).

After upgrading from a basic hard drive having EISA (Extended Industry Standard Architecture) partitions to dynamic disk, partitions may become invisible and may not displayed in proper location. In such cases, you may not access your significant files stored on them and face critical file loss situations. File Recovery is required to sort out such problems.
When upgrade process completes, hard drive partitions isn’t displayed and can not be managed using MMC (Microsoft Management Console) and LDM (Disk Management snap-in.
When the EISA partition resides on the dynamic disk, this is shifted by Disk Management to partition two and there is no drive letter associated with this partition. The partition does not show as a general Simple volume. The only command that is accessible when you right-click the partition is Help. Other commands like Explore, Deleted and Reformat aren’t accessible.
The invisibility and improper position of EISA partition in the Disk Management is a side effect of the way in which LDM handles such kind of partitions.
EISA partition is generally the first partition on physical disk. The disk management shows this partition in proper location when it exists on basic disk, enabling you to explore, reformat or delete it.
The partition is protected by the Disk Management from being corrupted in any way when this resides on dynamic disk. You can not re-create the partition using Windows 2000 Disk Management; it can only be done using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
If you accidentally delete or re-create EISA partition on dynamic disk outside of Windows 2000, then it could result into serious file loss situations and may also created startup problems and make your system unbootable. If the partition is visible and you wish to delete the partition, you should first backup all the existing volumes on dynamic disk.
To overcome these file loss situations, you are suggested to opt for File Recovery Software. These are advanced applications that systematically scan whole hard drive and extract all of the files from it.
The File Recovery Software have interactive and simple graphical user interface that allow you to have quick and straightforward recovery in most of the file loss situations. As these software have read-only conduct, they always perform safe and original recovery.
Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery is commanding File Recovery software that use efficient scanning mechanisms to scan the whole drive and extract all files and partitions from it. It supports recovery from FAT16, FAT32, VFAT, NTFS and NTFS5 file system partitions of Windows Vista, 2003, XP and 2000.

Sometimes you may need to re-partition your Mac hard drive and then carry out Mac Data Recovery. These situations occur when your current partition configuration does not allow you to perform required operations. For example, when you install firmware updates on Intel-based Mac if it is using non-standard partition scheme like fdisk scheme.
When you attempt to install the firmware updates on a partition that is using fdisk partition scheme, the process gets terminated and you may encounter the following error message:
“Unexpected error occurred (0); unable to upgrade firmware.”
To install firmware updates in such situations, you need to change the partition scheme that requires re-partitioning of hard drive.
Solution
To resolve this problem, you have two options:
Use external startup disk: Use bootable external disk, like firmware disk which is configured with GUID (Globally Unique IDentifier) partition scheme, to start your Mac using Startup Disk preferences. Apply firmware updates during startup. The updates will be applied to Mac, not external disk.
Erase and repartition the hard drive and reinstall Mac OS: Format your whole Mac hard drive and delete all the existing partitions. Then repartition the drive using GUID partition scheme and reinstall Mac OS X on it.
First method may not work in some situations but the second one will work in most of the situations and solve your problem.
Although, re-partitioning the hard drive would fix your issues but it also has a downside. All the data stored on your Mac hard drive will be deleted and you need to carry out Mac Recovery to get your data back.
Mac Data Recovery can easily and effectively be performed using third party Mac Recovery applications. These software are particularly designed to scan the affected hard drive and extract as much data as possible from it.
Most of the Macintosh recovery software come equipped with simple and interactive user interface the lets you perform ‘Do It yourself’ recovery in majority of logical data loss situations. With read-only and non-destructive design, these applications provide safe and systematic data recovery.
In order to have secure, quick and effective recovery, you are recommended to go for powerful and advanced recovery software. The software should support your combination of file system and Mac OS version.

On Novell NetWare computer, when you go to Storage-> Devices folder in iManager, a traditional Novell volume created with NetWare 5.0 or 5.1 becomes instantly deactivated.
After this, your Novell volume does not mount again and you encounter the following error message:
“The volume could NOT be mounted. Some or all volume segments could not be found. If this is an NSS volume, the pool may need to be activated using the command nss /poolactivate=”
This behavior of Novell operating system results into the inaccessibility of data.
Grounds of the issue
The cause of this issue is that the Novell NetWare partition format is totally
different between NetWare 5.x and 6.x. The iManager could not handle NetWare 5.x partition format and would just remove the partition. NetWare 5.x and 6.x have different MBR sizes. In this case, the old partition (with 32 sector MBR) is removed by iManager of NetWare 6.x and a new MBR of 64 sectors is created and thus the overwriting of the start of deleted NetWare partition takes place.
During the usual NetWare 6.x upgradation, all the partitions would be automatically converted to the NetWare 6.x format. If due to certain reasons, the partitions were not available during upgrade process, the previous NetWare 5.x format would remain.
Resolution
You can avoid this problem by upgrading your NetWare 5.x partitions to the NetWare 6.x format partitions using this console command- “MM UPGRADE PARTITIONS.”
Although, it is helpful for existing partitions and will help you in avoiding data loss but does not help in retrieving previously lost Novell partitions that have lost due to iManager issues.
In such situations, you need to carry out Novell Partition Recovery to get all your lost partitions and data back. You can do it easily using third party Novell Recovery Software. These software are extremely powerful and do absolute Novell Partition Recovery in all situations.
Stellar Phoenix Novell Data Recovery software is the best ever made and the most commanding Novell Partition Recovery software. This software is available in two different forms, which support recovery from NWFS and NSS file system. It is a result oriented and easy to use Novell Recovery software that can be used without much of prior technical knowledge.

The very first thing that you should do after a hard drive crash has enforced you to format the hard drive is to check your computer to ensure whatever resulted into the crash is not there to undermine your computer. Once you come to know that your computer is stable, you could start the procedure of data retrieval after formatting.
Data recovery at your own after formatting
The simplest method of getting proof of the system’s constancy is to store some non-critical data, so that if the data becomes damaged, you won’t lose anything important. Try opening and closing files, and if you do not get any message regarding the inaccessibility of the files, your system is functioning perfectly and storing the data normally.
Do It Yourself data recovery is carried out by using the appropriate backup of the critical data. You can easily restore your system from the backup and can continue your business operations, in all cases of system crash and hard drive formatting.
During data recovery after formatting the hard drive, you would upload all of your retrieved data, and for some of the computers, it could take a substantial amount of time. You will have to monitor the recovery process if your system is giving you some sort of error messages.
When the data recovery process is completed and your data is uploaded successfully, you could go through key files in every program and can open and see the intactness of data. Sometimes, you might have to remove and reinstall a few software.
Software to recover data after formatting
If you do not have appropriate backup of your data, another approach to recover your data is to buy data recovery software. The data recovery software could provide you an easy interface for salvaging each and every bit of your significant data.
Hard drive formatting would change the data partitions, and the data recovery software could retrieve your vital data from previous partitions or even from the corrupted ones. Data recovery software could be varying from operating system to operating system and its corresponding file system to file system.
Data recovery after formatting the hard drive might be both time-consuming and challenging, but if you have good data recovery software, you can retrieve all of your data very easily and effectively. Only a good data recovery company can offer you powerful and reliable data recovery software.
Stellar Information Systems Ltd is the most trustworthy and leading data recovery software Provider Company, having the most excellent track record. The formatting became an easy and current operation, but on a laptop it can contain certain unforeseen risks, nowadays the majority of the laptops are sold with a restoration system located in a hidden partition to facilitate the restoration of the operating system, one can also finds in the hidden partition a media player customized by the manufacturer for your machine.
The problems
Certain manufacturer to decrease their expenses do not provide any more a DVD of restoration. They invite you at the time of the first starting to burn a restoration system DVD.
It is very important to make this or these dvd because in the event of formatting (low level format) or of breakdown of your hard disk you will not have any more access to your legally bought operating system.
There is today a very significant number of user which seeks on Internet to recover their Windows OS after having to erase their hidden partition to gain place, or to get rid of a virus, or because the installation of another operating system make the hidden partition inaccessible.
In the same way for the partitions where are installed media player, it is necessary to be sure to have the DVD of reinstallment, and often the reinstallment works only on the same type of partition as in the beginning.
For those which read this document too late, there remain possibilities to recover the hidden partitions, in certain cases, some software make it possible to recover the data of an erased disc, also in certain cases the hidden partition is not erased but just inaccessible it is necessary at this time to restore the master boot record. I think that Windows XP is a very good Operating System, but long time usage can damage your registries, some malware can corrupt critical Windows files which makes your Windows almost impossible to use in time. When this happens it’s better to have a rescue solution. And happily there are a few methods to accomplish it, but I want to talk about Automated System Recovery Wizard (or ASR method) which comes with Windows XP Professional itself. The reason is that you don’t need to install any specialized software and it is very easy to do.
The tools that you need are: a formatted floppy disk, the Windows XP Professional CD and some free space in a drive where you want to save the backup file.
The program is named BACKUP and it can be found in Start – Programs – Accessories – Backup. More quickly to access it is to type in Start – Run : ntbackup, which is the name of the this small program. After you start it and the welcome screen appears you select the Advanced Mode. In the Advanced Mode of the Backup Utility you have three alternatives to choose: Backup Wizard, Restore Wizard and Automated System Recovery Wizard. The first option is if you want to do a more detailed selection of the directories and partitions, for example if you have special documents located elsewhere. The second is used to restore an already made backup. The third is used to create a clone of the entire Windows Operating System which is usually located on C:\ partition. If by any chance your OS is located elsewhere (another drive) you can select the first option and choose manually from the drives.
If you choose Automated System Recovery Wizard you are prompted on the next screen only about the location of the backup file where it would be created. You are free to decide about the name and the destination of this file. It requires only to have enough free drive space. Completing the Automated System Recovery Preparation Wizard is just the final stage. When you click on Finish the program will begin processing and then the backup operation will begin. The backup is made in one file which has the *.bkf extension. The process can take about 10 minutes but could be also less. After the image of the operating system is completed you are prompted to insert the floppy disk. This is used if your system fails to boot and you must boot from the Windows XP installation CD. The diskette will help you start the rescue program and restore the backup image.
When all it’s done you can remove the floppy from it’s drive. You can also do scheduled automated backups with Schedule Jobs.

Is data recovery possible when your hard drive is nothing more than a burnt box? The data recovery minds answer these questions in ‘Yes’. So cheer up as there is nothing to mourn upon.
Data recovery view is always optimistic as researches have shown that there is no term like ‘data loss’. Data is the loyal friend of the storage media and preserves its loyalty, until you become so harsh to separate it forcefully, though you are not aware of the act. Let’s talk about the most used and hence in danger storage media- hard drive.
Hard drive is intended to retain data on its platters’ surface. Though for high-tech users, the fact how data gets lost from the hard drives is not a secret, but for the general ones, still it is. Hard drive with one or the other mechanism is wearing out at each moment and one day, it can become partly or fully inoperable. So, safeguard it by storing the business important data on CDs or DVDs, but they are also risky as of unpredictable nature to the damage.
Generally, you divide the hard drive space into partitions for the purpose of better management. Data loss can be of small piece of information to the entire partition as the outcome of corruption or formatting. Fortunately, data is recoverable in any of the case.
Data recovery utters the word of success with the high-ending tools and techniques. With the data recovery software, you have a resort for using the programming techniques. Coded programs have the specific bounds to cover data loss areas like formatting, accidental deletion, virus attack and similar, so for the physical crashes, according procedure called data recovery service is usable.
Obviously, the programs with bad interface are found to be tricky to use, moreover, their development as per the growth of the operating systems is mandatory for getting the success. While, if you desire the same achievement in data recovery success, look for the special techniques and working environment to treat with the media.
Modern hard drives run on some special principles and the ongoing process of data recovery should be well-tuned with it. This is not difficult for the data recovery to solve the data loss issue, but the realistic approach needs better dealings. Data loss is the most overwhelming state for the organizations to face. While from the financial impact, this can cost you recompense, legal recovery issues and penalties in business, the other side is trauma to the owner. The threat to the reputation of the business, your partner and client relationships trust loss, exposure to the business important aspects , data loss can fetch all this.
However, most of the businesses are concerned about data thefts and hacker’s ill-treatment, safeguarding data from the internal acts is equally important so as to avoid data recovery as a whole. Data backup is the sure-fire way but unfortunately, only few of the businesses take care of this. More precisely you do backup, less you will need data recovery.
As the other view, few simple steps can also prevent you from most of the disastrous situations.
• Operating system failure sounds awful, but its cure never destroys your data, if you take precautious to avoid data storage in the primary partition/volume. Majority of computer problems have way through operating system’s weak points and to cure the issue, you need to format the primary partition/volume, which causes whole data to lose. So avoid data storage here. But, still if you lose data due to any stupid act, have data recovery software and recover data.
• If you are regular Internet user, beware of not getting involved with the unsafe acts. Don’t open the attachments, for which you are uncertain. Don’t ever visit or download any software or game, whose unsafe nature even pinches you from any side. These will destroy your data and then buying the data recovery software becomes the compulsion.
• Though we don’t admit prior, but data loss due to the user’s own mistakes is a reality. The common ways through which data gets lost is accidentally deleting the files or partitions, not taking the backup. Though data recovery software cures these types of issues, but having the safe play with data should be first priority.
• If possible, this would be good to have the hard copies of not all, but the very important data. This can assure data recovery later.
Thus, at the conclusive part, data loss is not avoidable and data recovery is a way. But, if you move on with the cautious measures, still there are chances to stay away from disastrous conditions.
Data recovery software are the applications which have the inbuilt scanning procedures for the lost data, interaction mechanism with the file system and certain valuable options to help gaining the inaccessible data back. Safe to use and interactive at look, data recovery software acts as the boon to users.
For the most effective data recovery, the software utilities developed by Stellar Information Systems Limited are considered to be the best. Available for different operating systems, read-only nature, intuitive interface and high-ending scanning abilities, these data recovery software are the real terms to the data.

The EFI or Extensible Firmware Interface is the specification, defining the software interface between Mac operating system and platform firmware. EFI boot process involves a boot manager which is built into the firmware. But with few of the Mac systems, the boot drive options are found to be changed to include EFI boot.
When the user desires to choose from the available boot volumes, the boot menu starts displaying the options which have never been expected. The EFI boot option
starts displaying and you have no clue of the bootable volume which has lots of important data within. Also the booting process may not be as usual, but the drive name appears as normal in Finder.
The condition is threatening as the data stored can’t be lost in this way. The possible culprit behind the scene could be the some modifications, done to volume structure of the drive. This is also feasible that the user has restored a clone of the hard drive after upgrading or any other case.
In such conditions, the user is recommended to stop doing anything with the system and follow the given steps:
· If you are cloning the hard drive, try using some alternative method. It should be a bit-for-bit transfer as small differences could create problems. You can try cloning a temporary external disk and then replacing the internal one and then cloning back.
· Try using the disk repair utility
· Reset PRAM as this might contain some boot information
· Attempt changing the startup disk in System Preference as this could be the result of some firmware settings
· Erase all the partitions of the drive as the last resort by using the Disk Utility
Erasing or formatting the hard drive partitions mean that all your data has gone and this is the time to have Mac recovery. Data worth when this is significant from business point of view. So Mac data recovery needs productive source to happen.
Data recovery industry has benefited the users with data recovery Mac software which have the high scanning ability for the lost data. These Mac recovery utilities are easy to use and well in results.
Stellar Phoenix Macintosh Data Recovery software is the advanced Mac data recovery help, offered to scan the affected drive. This data recovery Mac application is found to be compatible with HFS, HFS+, HFSX and HFS Wrapper file systems. Through its read-only conduct, the software is viable to get safe Mac recovery.
