Printed Circuit Boards
A Printed circuit board (PCB) is a thin plate on which different electronic components are connected using conductors. PCB’s are found in almost all electronic devices such as computers, televisions, radios etc. In PCB all the electronic components are attached to an insulating surface such as glass. These required much effort but they are cheap and highly reliable.
PCB can be single sided, double sided and multi sided. There are many different types of PCB materials available in the market. Most common are FR-1, FR-2, CEM-1, CEM-3 and FR-4. The thickness of the PCB can be 1.0mm, 1.2mm or 1.6mm. Single sided PCB have all the components on only one side of the plate and if the components are more then you can use other side of the plate which makes it double sided PCB. In a multi sided PCB components are attached to a substrate board made of different layers separated by insulators.
Holes are drilled on the insulator in which electronic components are fitted and these holes are also works as electrical connection between different components. Components connected by ‘through hole technology’ uses thin wires or leads that are pushed through small holes and soldered to connection pads in the opposite side. Components connected through ‘surface mount technology’ have j-shaped legs on each component which contact circuit directly.
Before manufacturing a Printed Circuit Board first you have to design the board with a goal to get required functionality in a given size. Generally a computer is used to design. Using this you can design the layout of the circuit, exact location of components and holes. The same can be implemented on the insulator board.
PCBs made from paper reinforced phenolic resin with a bonded copper foil. These are less expensive. Circuits are made of copper and are coated with tin-lead layer to prevent oxidation. Insulator substrate is made by dipping or spraying epoxy resin over woven glass fiber. This is semi cured using oven and broken into large panels. These panels are placed in layers by keeping copper foil in between and subjected to high temperatures and pressure for one hour making the bond between copper foil and resin tight.
The above made substrate panel is placed in a machine for making holes in the locations that are determined during design. Generally machine is used for making holes at precise location and this machine guided through computer. Holes are made in such a way that they act as circuit using copper.
Circuit pattern is now printed on the substrate board by placing the copper in the desired pattern. The circuit is made clear by applying photo resistive material and exposing it to ultraviolet light. Then contact fingers are attached to the edge of the substrate to connect with printed circuit. Then each panel is sealed with epoxy to preventing them from damage while electronic components are mounted. Electronic components are mounted on the board at exact location on the circuit using machine. The components are then soldered to circuit. This step makes Printed Circuits boards ready to use.

Electrical conduits are made for the purpose of insulating and for defending the conductors from the dampness, from the natural environment, from the accidental impact, and also from the chemical vapors, which can easily cause some damage to them.
The Electrical Conduits are also able to make it smooth for the electricians, or even for homeowners like you to fix a simple wiring system. Since, there are several Electrical Conduits available on the International Market, it is easy for you to buy some electrical conduit, to make an electrical system for yourself.
Here are some guidelines on choosing the electrical conduits for your home:
1. Choose which kind of Electrical Conduit you require in your house, keeping in mind the actual size and shape of your home, and of course, depending on your budget for the electrical system. The most utilized kinds as Electrical Conduit are represented by rigid and flexible metal electrical conduit.
The flexible electrical conduit is the most common used Electrical Conduit for the hart to reach places, but it is not as efficient as an insulator, compared to the metal and the plastic electrical conduit.
The rigid type of metal electrical conduit is the most common utilized for industrial and the commercial buildings, because it represents a way better insulator and there are not as many impossible to reach places.
2. Resolve the desired amount of the electrical conduit that you will need to generate in your enclosed electrical system. You can use a a jet line or string to determine your electrical system, or you can simply calculate the length by using the actual dimensional size of your home.
3. Purchase your electrical conduit from a specialized electrical store or from a professional home improvement shop. If you need a big amount, you will need to pre-order it, to ensure that it is sufficient in the store.
These are the common tricks and tips that will help you when you will be buying your Electrical Conduit for your home. After that, only you will need proper conduit fittings in your home.
