Each MySQL database is an organized group of table, which store data and information in form of rows and columns. Tables could be added or deleted as per your requirement. But in some situations, the database tables might get damaged and the stored data become inaccessible. Generally the MySQL tables are damaged due to improper system shutdown, using external application (such as myisamchk) on like table, insufficient disk space, virus infection, faulty memory and many alike. Corruption to database table cause serious data loss situations. In these cases, for absolute recovery, restore data from most recent backup. But if the backup is not available, you need to go for MySQL Recovery solutions to get your critical data back.
In a practical scenario, when you try to access the MyISAM (account) table in MySQL database, you might come across below given error message and the process might get terminated:
“MySQL error: 145
Table ‘./rootforu_forum/Accounts’ is marked as crashed and should be repaired
Query: SELECT * FROM Accounts WHERE sid=’73bc9dbecbab357dc2ca7a54fb410f09′ AND ip=’XX.XX.X.XXX’ LIMIT 1”
The above error message indicates that corruption has occurred in the Accounts table of MyISAM database and thus you can not get into account.
Root of the problem
The major cause of this problem is corruption to the MyISAM table or entire database. The corruption could be due to insufficient memory space. In above scenario, the Accounts table needs to be repaired and restores for further accessing of the database.
Resolution
In order to sort out above issue and carry out MySQL Repair, check database corruption using below command:
“CHECK TABLE Accounts;
(If the Accounts table is stored on server, make sure that the server is currently running)
Next, repair Accounts table by using any of the following commands:
% mysqlcheck -uuser -ppass Accounts fixtures;
(When you run this command, make sure that the server is currently running)
Or
% myisamchk fixtures Accounts.MYI
(The server must be down and the Accounts table must be inactive when you run this command)
When all else fails to sort out your problem, go for MySQL Database Recovery using third party software. These software are particularly designed to effectively scan the damaged database and retrieve all of the data from it. The MySQL Recovery software are completely easy and safe to use.

A STOP error message at the startup of Windows NT based operating systems can be caused due to file system damage, registry corruption, low disk space, reduced memory, virus infections and more. Primary outcomes of a STOP error message are data inaccessibility and unmountable hard drive. Restoration of data from an up-to-date backup is an ideal solution to overcome the hazards of the STOP error message. But, if no updated backup is available or backup falls short to restore the required information, then you will need to use advanced file recovery that can systematically recover your lost data.
As a practical case, you encounter the below STOP error message when you attempt to boot your computer system:
“STOP: 0×00000073 (0×00000001, 0xc000017d, 0×00000002,
0xfc96fcc0)
” CONFIG_LIST_FAILED”
The four parameters in the above error message are explained below:
Parameter 1: is always set to 1
Parameter 2: indicates insufficient disk space or failed allocated pool
Parameter 3: indicates the index of the hive in the hive list
Parameter 4: indicates a pointer to a UNICODE_STRING structure
After the above error message appears on the blue screen, the data stored in the hard drive becomes inaccessible. In addition, you encounter the same error message each time you attempt to start your system.
Cause:
The root cause for the occurrence of the above STOP error message is registry issue. However, it is not necessary that the registry might be corrupt.
Resolution:
To resolve the above STOP error message and access the data saved in the hard drive, you will need to take the below actions:
• Reduce the hard disk space.
• Increase RAM (Random Access Memory).
However, if the same STOP error message appears even after applying the above measures, then the best possible solution is to reinstall Windows operating system. A clean reinstall of Windows will completely erase the data stores on your hard drive partition. To systematically recover all the data after reinstalling Windows, you will need to use advanced file recovery software. These partition recovery applications use high end scanning mechanisms to recover all the lost data after hard drive formatting.

Under dynamic disk storage, a single partition is involved which covers the entire hard disk, while the disk is divided into number of volumes. A dynamic disk may hold spanned volumes, mirrored volumes, simple volumes, striped volumes and RAID 5 volumes. On the other hand, basic disks use general partition tables and hold basic volumes like extended partitions, primary partitions and logical drives.
In order to convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk, we can use the Disk Management utility and use the corresponding option by right clicking the basic disk to be converted. Dynamic disk uses a database which is intended to track all information about dynamic volumes on the system. This database also contains information about other dynamic disks on a computer system. But, if the system fails to create this database due to issues like insufficient disk space, conversion of basic disk to dynamic disk will not succeed.
The basic disk must contain some free space that is not partitioned at its end. This space is required to create database for dynamic disk. In such cases, the system generates certain errors related to insufficient disk space to upgrade.
The disk to be upgraded may have a single or multiple partitions. But in both the cases, we need to format them to resolve the issue. So, it is recommended to backup all the data and check the backup status and backup media for reliability. In case the backup is not up-to-date or backup failure, we need to use specialized third party applications known as Data Recovery Software.
Whether the disk contains only a single or multiple partitions we need to delete the partition. After this, we can continue with the process of upgrading. At the last step, we can recreate and format the volume and restore all data from backup.
Data Recovery
When data backup fails or there is no data backup, we need to use Data Recovery Software or Data Recovery service to recover our valuable files. These utilities are result of extensive research and feature safe design for precise Data Recovery. Data Recovery Software can scan affected or corrupted media to retrieve all the lost data files.

For users, who want dual booting between Mac OS X and Windows XP or Vista, Boot Camp will allow you to do so. This is an assistance tool, which comes with Leopard and works on Intel based Macintosh systems. The software lets you have safe repartitioning of the Mac hard drive and helps installing Windows.
But, due to one or the other reasons, some users are reporting a strange error with the software. When the user attempts repartitioning with the application, the following error may pop up:
“The disk cannot be partitioned because some files cannot be moved.
Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS X Extended (journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again”
Also, if you look in /var/logs/system.log file for further descriptive look of the problem, the error may be like:
“Sep 1 14:55:30 chmac kernel[0]: hfs_truncatefs: couldn’t reclaim space on Macintosh HD”
The problem may be the outcome of:
Ø Operating system installation faults
Ø Parallels VM marked unmovable
Ø Insufficient Disk Space
Ø External drives connected
Ø Sharing Options turned on
So try resolving the issue by reinstalling the operating system, deleting the parallels VM file, freeing the hard disk from useless and large files, disconnecting the external drives or turning off the sharing options. See if, either of them helps. But, make sure that you have all the data backed up before reinstalling OS, unless to require Mac data recovery.
However, Boot Camp also put restriction on the Windows partition that the lowest limit must be of 5 GB and it must leave the same amount of free space for Mac partition. So see, if this is not creating the problem.
And those, who have lost data due to installation of Mac OS or while deleting some important file can have Mac recovery with the third party applications. Data recovery Mac software are designed to run the powerful scanning procedure on the Mac hard drive so as to retrieve the lost data.
Stellar Phoenix Macintosh Data Recovery software is counted top in list, whenever Mac data recovery utilities are counted. This Mac recovery utility is safe and effective to recover the lost data in any case. Equipped with the interactive interface, this data recovery Mac software is compatible with HFS, HFS+, HFSX and HFS Wrapper file systems.
