As a site flipper myself I am always reading any new products that come out about Site Flipping. I do this for a couple of reasons – it keeps me up to date on anything new happening in the site flipping world and also because I often gain some handy tips that make things easier. Plus there is the fact that I like to know what my competition is up to
Kate Anderson is a site flipper that I have watched for a long time as she truly does stand out from the crowd with her site creations and site flips. Her websites always sell in the hundreds and often for over $1000, so when she released her own ebook package Flip Mastery I had to grab myself a copy.
So here is my review of Kate Anderson’s Flip Mastery
There is a LOT of information. The package consists of a few ebooks as follows:
* Main Flip Mastery Ebook
* Blog Flipping Mastery
* Quick Start Flipping
* PLR Flipping Secrets
* Domain Flipping Cash Guide
* Email Template Swipe File
* Quick Start Traffic Mastery
* Instant Blog Profits
* Outsourcing Strategy Kit
* What I liked about Flip Mastery
Kate has a fantastic way with words and her books are really well written. There were a few tips and strategies that I didn’t know and that I think can really help me in my own business. Kate covers a lot of detail in her books and in paritcular the main Flip Mastery manual.
The main manual is just that, it is the main one and the one that you would get the most out of. The other books are ok but it is the main one that you really need. In this manual Kate gives an introduction into the site flipping business and then continues to explain in more detail the different types of site flipping.
As well as discussing the different types of site flipping Kate also tells you the extra details or steps that she personally takes that help her to continue to sell sites for a good profit. Kate ‘presells’ many of her sites and she explains how she does this – this itself is really a very valuable bit of information.
Kate discusses how she creates websites to sell, she also discusses outsourcing and how it can cut down your time spent on creating sites. She also goes into some detail of buying cheap sites and renovating them to sell at a profit.
There isn’t much that Kate leaves out in these ebooks and of the many ebooks that I have read on Site Flipping this is definately one of the best.
The negatives of Flip Mastery
One thing I was a little disappointed in is that Kate discussing all the ins and outs of site flipping and how to sell sites etc, but she doesn’t go into much detail on actually creating websites to sell. Although she discusses every other aspect of Site Flipping, there wasn’t really much detail in creating websites and as her websites are really good I was hoping to see more information on this.
The other thing that disappointed me a little was some of the bonuses that I believe are PLR material. I know many sellers use PLR material to give as bonuses to their own product, but for a product of this caliber I just think it’s better to stick with your own material and not use PLR. Let’s face it, PLR bonuses are really just there to make the package look bigger so your customer thinks they are getting more – that’s my personal opinion anyway and for a good quality package I prefer not to see PLR stuff thrown in.
Conclusion
Overall, Flip Mastery is a great product and by far one of the best that I have seen. Although there isn’t a great deal of information on the actual creation of websites, the other information that Kate gives is very valuable and for anyone really wanting to be successful with site flipping they really should have a copy of this ebook.
I highly recommend Flip Mastery so if you are serious about site flipping then grab yourself a copy and take your site flipping to the next level.

The Portfolio Page is a very integral part of your website. This is where you can showcase all your products and work samples for your visitors to see and thus establish your reputation in the industry. By seeing your work, visitors will get an idea about your skills and abilities and would consider you of and when they have a similar requirement. Therefore, it is important to design a good Portfolio Page where you can showcase your works creatively and make an impression on anyone who sees it.
Here are some handy tips to design a Portfolio Page for your website…
Arrange according to Quality
Though you may believe that all your works or samples are good enough, there may be some that are better than the others. And the trick of the Portfolio Page is to impress visitors instantly. The organization of your portfolio page is very important in order to make a good impression on the website visitors. Prioritize your works in order of their quality and present the best ones first followed by the rest of them in decreasing order of ‘goodness’. The idea here is to impress the visitors at the word ‘go’! If they like the first sample, they will continue browsing and see the rest of the portfolio.
Moreover, arrange the content in such a way that users can view the samples one by one or see all of them at the same time as thumbnails. If there is too much content, you can split them up in pages.
Don’t Overload the Page
It is not unnatural for you to want to load the Portfolio Page with every tiny piece of work that you have ever created in life. However, instead of establishing your reputation, this will only serve to increase the size and weight of your website. Avoid the urge to upload all your works on the portfolio page and instead focus on quality rather than quantity. That is not to say that you should adhere to a limited number of entries and keep back some of your good works. But avoid showcasing unnecessary elements. For examples, too many entries of the same nature and type would have no value addition but only take up space.
Have an Easy Navigation
The navigation is very important to the Portfolio Page. This is because you would want your visitors to browse through the page easily and view the work samples. Don’t try to create a complex navigation pathway in a bid to appear innovative. Innovation may work well if really don’t well. However, if it fails, it can have severe impact on your website. That is why, it is best to play safe and create an easy navigation that allows users to browse through easily and focus on the samples posted there. Good navigation lets visitors focus on the content and avoids any confusion.
Don’t Mess Up
The Portfolio Page serves to showcase your products and work samples. Therefore, it is important to present them well and professionally. Include visual elements that can highlight the important contents and bring out the best features of the same.

During my online journeys I have noticed many websites that look good with a particular browser and a particular screen-resolution; but view it with a different browser, and you can’t even read the plain text on the page. I have jotted down a few points important from the point of view of web designers and am sharing those with my readers.
Here are some handy tips for web designers:-
Use CSS to format your text: Cascading style sheets make you play the designing game in much easier way. Use one style sheet and control how text looks on your entire site. Follow the K.I.S.S. principle: Keep it simple, stupid!
Design Search engine friendly pages: It simply means taking care of the Meta tags and the content with which you want to promote products through your site. Make smart use of the keywords, placing them in ascending order of their priority in Meta tags as well as in content.
Avoid common spammer tactics like grouping keywords at the bottom of your page, or trying to “hide” keywords by making the text the same color as your page’s background.
Text size, Text contrast, Text Line Spacing: Text is everything for a website. After all it is only the text that makes people understand what you want them to understand. And to make them understand better and with much interest it’s important to use font size big enough to read. Also, the more contrast, the better. Give the lines enough room to breath by keeping decent amount of line spacing.
Easy Navigation: It is the key to lead visitors to make buying decisions while going through your website! Ensure that visitors can navigate in a much flexible way. Always have a “home page” link on every page and have a “top of page” link at the bottom of every page that is longer than the visitor can see at normal browser settings. Don’t send visitors down a blind alley with no obvious way out. Many people will simply exit your site if it is unclear where to go next.
Building and maintaining a website takes time and work, but if done properly you website can be make you play in gold, which is worth your efforts.

It’s no secret that an occupied home is much less likely to be broken into than one that is unoccupied. That means securing your home while you’re away is of paramount importance. If you are going on vacation, heading out to spend the holidays with distant family, or just going on an extended business trip, it is vital that you protect your home adequately. How do you ensure that your home is safe when you’re not at home? What can you do to safeguard your home and your possessions when you travel? Here are some handy tips to maximize your home’s protection when you are not there.
1. The very first thing that you need is a security system. A professionally monitored security system offers tremendous protection, even when you are away. In fact, with most security companies, you can alert the monitoring center that you will be away for an extended time and they will step up security accordingly. In short, there is no better way to ensure that your home and possessions are safe. Of course, you can do many other things, as well.
2. Newspaper and mail delivery are two other areas in which you should exercise care. If you have daily newspaper delivery, ensure that you have someone pickup the papers as soon as they are delivered. Nothing says “not home” quite so much as a stack of unread newspapers lying in the driveway. You should also arrange to have your mail picked up by a trusted neighbor, friend or relative.
3. The lighting in your home is another area of concern. For instance, when you and your family are at home, you use the lights in your house on a regular basis. A house that has no lights on is a tempting target for thieves and vandals. You can leave certain lights on in your home, but this can be a giveaway if the lights remain unchanged day and night. A better option is to ask a neighbor or friend to come in daily and switch lights on and off on a random basis. You can even invest in an automated system that will mimic the actual light usage of your family while you are away.
4. Window locks are one area that often suffers neglect. While you may have strong door locks, your window locks may be a prime target for a burglar. Before you leave for vacation, make sure that you have strong window locks on all of your ground floor windows and that they are all secure. You should also make sure that there is no way that a burglar can climb to any second story windows; this includes trees, ladders, trellises and other items that can provide thieves with access.
As you can see, there are many things that you can do to help ensure your home is safe while you are away. The single most important thing is to make it appear as though the home is occupied. Use your friends, relatives and neighbors to give your home the semblance of normal life within and your home will be much safer.

The Texas Holdem rage is sweeping the nation. Equip yourself with the leverage necessary for dealing with any opponent with these handy tips on how to play the top ten hands.
Pocket Aces
Possibly the least difficult hand to play in Holdem, since it is the most advisable starting hand, but avoid falling prey to the trap so rapidly. Before the flop, make your best effort to get your aces down to a single opponent, and try to get him all-in. You will win most of the time, but be prepared to lose sometimes, and never allow it to disrupt your game. Most hands are at best about 23% to win against you, so one in four times you can expect to be out drawn. The more opponents stay in the hand, the more chance that someone is going to outwit you.
Refrain from being concerned to lay this hand down after the flop if your instincts say that you are beaten. The element of pride makes this the worst opponent of Texas Holdem Poker’s players.
Pocket Kings
Pocket King’s strategy resembles that of pocket aces pre-flop, as you would like to settle for a single opponent before the board comes down. Play them aggressively, but exercise caution that a single ace can bring your hand down, an unrevealed pocket aces weakness. Likewise, if a commonly tight player who is sitting on a lot of chips suddenly re-raises you all-in before the flop, it is most likely that he is holding aces and you expect a 4:1 favor against you.
After the flop, if there is an ace out there and you carry a valid reason to believe your opponent has it, bet out anyway. If you get raised back, let the hand go. If he merely calls, chances are he doesn’t have the ace, but he doesn’t believe that you do either. You do not have to, but you carry second best and that is more likely enough if he is calling faintly.
Drawing Pocket Queens
One of the hardest hands in Texas Holdem, since it is a very difficult hand to throw away, but plagued with weak links. Unlike aces and kings, pocket queens now have two over-cards to bust them out, aside from other hands out-drawing them. To reiterate, play them aggressive before the flop, raising the bar firmly, and even just one re-raise against somebody in latter position is highly recommended. If somebody in early position raises you, simply call an early raise usually means strength.
