Author: It was the Rockstar North who developed the video game entitled Grand Theft Auto 4. This action pack adventure game is also known as the GTA IV. The Grand Theft Auto games have over a total of nine series and GTA IV is the ninth one.
The one which came before GTA IV is named GTA San Andreas. The game GTA IV was released with versions of Xbox and PlayStation 3 in April 2008. It is on this same release date when the game was released in America and Europe.
Months later, it was also released in Japan on the 30th of October 2008. Eventually, the game was released in the Windows version on December 2, 2008.
As we move to the game, you will learn that the Grand Theft Auto 4 was set in an imaginary Liberty city. When compared to the previous games, the version of the city existing in this game is different and completely redesigned. The city portrays the real New York as its inspiration and other things that go on in the city.
The protagonist of the game is a war veteran named Niko Bellic. Since his country is not specified, what we know about him is that he came from some country in Eastern Europe.
When this man comes to America in quest for the American Dream, he gets caught up in seedy dealings and affairs with the underworld in the city. What can one found in the city are numerous sort of vices that you can imagine like corruption, murder, etc. He gets pulled into a net of crimes and gangs and thus unable to come out.
The good part of the game is that you can undergo different experiences while playing it such as being a first person shooter, a third person shooter, and you can ride your car and what not. Those who have played a few of the versions of Grand Theft Auto may know precisely what I am talking about.
In fact the gaming experience that can be attained by any player of Grand Theft Auto 4 is the “open-world” game play which permits the players an enormous amount of hold over the playing experience. With your friends around the globe, you will all certainly enjoy the game for its mode has about fifteen game types and is available online with a multiple player.
Grand Theft Auto 4 is a game ever developed that broke all records of the gaming industry leading to its major critical success. Well done to Rockstar Games with their latest installment in the Grand Theft Auto series: Grand Theft Auto IV. The game play and high level of realism is far greater than any of its earlier editions. Liberty City is now the most realistic environment I have ever seen created in a game.
In Grand Theft Auto IV, or GTA4 for short, you return as eastern European Niko Bellic, the illegal immigrant who enters Liberty City on a small boat that eventually takes him to his gambling addict, high debt, cousin, Roman. This is where you commence your first of many missions.
If you’ve played any of the earlier Grand Theft Auto games, then you will be familiar with the mission type game play that sees you spending time performing small jobs like: stealing cars, shooting gangsters, earning money and respect, or just bringing havoc to the streets of Liberty City while escaping the cops; which I like the best!
Ever since the first edition of Grand Theft Auto, there has been a number of cheats and codes available to help you with getting further through-out the game. This is no different with GTA4 Cheats. In fact, in this edition, apart from codes or cheats you would expect to see; like getting better weapons; or becoming invincible etc., Imagine… while walking the streets of Liberty City, you decide to make it rain, or you become sick of seeing large amounts of traffic on the freeways, so you decide to tame it down just a little – or a lot! It is the attention to detail and the ability to control the varying conditions that make the game as incredible as it is. It is features such as this that has helped with the long term success of the series.
THE Cheats
Now back to GTA4 cheats… after all, this is what this article is all about. In the older versions of this series, you had to perform a series of button combinations to enable cheats in the game. However, GTA San Andreas introduced a new way to activate cheats; which was to utilize an in-game object, such as Niko’s cell phone to enter a series of numbers as if he was making a call.
As in GTA San Andreas, for you to activate any cheats, you need to get a cell phone first. To get the phone, you will have to complete a few missions first. But don’t be too concerned, getting through them is easily done.
When you have the cell phone, you simply activate a cheat by dialling a series of numbers related to the cheat. For example, the cheats below can be used by entering the numbers beside them. However, before you start dialling away, take note that using the GTA4 cheats here can disable some achievements in your game. So if you use any cheat here, make sure you don’t save your progress.
