Author: When you first start the game, over time enemies start coming from one side of the playing field to the other where they try to reach your home base. When you are unable to stop the enemies from entering your base and doing their damage you lose health. You have to prevent this because when your home base is destroyed you have lost the game. You must place your towers wisely in the way of the enemies to your base. In the case of this new Windows Mobile Tower Defense game from Color Stone Ltd you have a total of 6 different towers that you can plant down to defend your base. All towers have different aspects and do a different type of damage to the incoming enemies. Although it is not very clear what kind of damage the towers do, so you have to observe against what enemies they work best. And it can be quite tedious to find a right mix of towers if this remains in the dark.
As you kill enemies with your mix of towers you gain more money, with your new earned funds you can opt for upgrading your towers or buying new ones. The towers can be upgraded a total of 2 times and when you do they get a tad more bad ass graphics, think of bigger guns, more guns, bigger flame thrower and such things.
The game features 2 levels that you can play and they both bring different type of strategy to this windows mobile game. The game has 3 difficulties easy, normal and hard, the suggested difficulty is easy unless you are a tower defense veteran. High score and other settings can be found in the options menu. The only downside is that there is no option to save your game to different slots, there is only one save game available. But if you decide to start a new game in the meanwhile there is no way to resume a game you started before that.
This game is one of the best and most fun games featured on the newer WVGA/VGA Windows Mobile devices you can find. Tower defense fanatic or not, you should really consider getting this game for your Windows Mobile phone, because it is one of the best games that has come out for Windows Mobile phones. There are a few downsides to this game like the inability to save your game and the fact that it is not completely clear what the towers do.
