BILLING PROCEDURES, RATES AND TRANSPARENCY.
cheapestPCrepair.com has different rates for in home/office visits and drop offs. Please make yourself aware of and understand the following:
It is my hope that by making my billing procedures clear, concise and transparent, "black and white" for example with no double talk, no hidden billings, no "small print" if you will, that most future problems will be avoided. PAYMENTS:
I accept local checks for services only, any parts must be paid for in cash or via credit card, online at PayPal with the exception of the following check policy: Parts that need to be ordered costing $99 or more must be paid for in advance, I can send an invoice through e-mail with a CC payment link or I can accept cash or check in person. If check is used, a 1 week waiting period must be accepted for check to clear.
DROP OFF vs. VISIT:
DROP OFF: When you drop your system off for repairs, I will have greater access to various tools better enabling me to diagnose and repair your equipment, also there will be less time pressures because no matter how many hours I put into it, your cost for service will never increase. Another benefit to dropping off is that If I am unable to repair your system, you pay nothing.
VISIT: When I visit your home/office, you get the convenience of having your computer repaired in your home. if a shop visit is required, I will disconnect your equipment and bring them to my shop to repair, once completed, I will return them to you and re-setup your devices.
If I am unable to repair your device, regardless of how many hours I might invest in your equipment, the $100.00 first hour fee still pertains and must be paid at the time that I am there, before I leave.
IN HOME/OFFICE RATES:
My rates are $100 for the first hour and $50 for each hour after that plus $2 per mile after the first 5 free miles.
I charge on the half hour, rounded up. so 45 minutes is equal to one hour, 20 minutes is equal to half hour.
EXAMPLE:
1. If you lived 17 miles away and I stayed at your home for 1 1/2 hours, the total bill would be $149.00
2. If you your home/office is 3 miles away and I stay there for 45 minutes, the total bill would be $100.00
DROP OFF RATES:
If you drop your item(s) off at my office, I charge $50, per computer system that I repair. it is not by the hour, it is by the job so you never will have any "surprises" on your bill.
EXAMPLE:
If you drop off a laptop and I repair your operating system, recover your data, remove the viruses, tweak it for speed and reliability and update all the drivers and install the Microsoft updates, your total bill would be $50.
