Web accessibility is a big question for the webmasters. This is the only thing which takes most of the time in releasing a website. While designing a website, designers and developers take proper care of the accessibility of the web site. Even the law does not allow the service providers to discriminate among the disabled ones when giving their services (DDA-Disability Discrimination Act) to the visitors. Then making an accessible website for every one becomes a duty and need too, in order to gain the world wide exposure, for a developer. Web2.0 websites can be seen as examples of websites of high accessibility.

Non disable people may also find difficulty in exploring the website but in that case the problem would be purely technical. For example: suppose if majority of the population is browsing your website in older version of IE but your website is friendly with the latest IE or any other browser then what are the likely possibilities? You can guess it all well.

If your website contains images, Flash or JavaScript, and fails to provide alternative, then it will be hard for users to access your website. The following examples are a common occurrence:

Mobiles and PDAs:- People have started browsing websites via phones and PDAs . These gadgets do not support large image files, flash and JavaScript so you better check how your website looks in these gadgets.
Slow connection:- Heavy image files sometimes make website slow to load and this irritates the user. This ultimately makes him to shut the website down and run away.
Use of Flash:- It is not necessary that every user has downloaded flash on his system. This creates a little inconvenience if your site includes flash.

Though these are only few points but believe me there are many more. So whenever you are working on a website make sure to make its accessibility its USP rather than weak point.

YOUR QUESTIONS
"How do I use one monitor for two computers?"
If your monitor has a switch to control inputs DVI / VGA and you will be able to connect each computer to one of those inputs. You may need to buy a 2-Port KVM with Integrated Cableswhich lets you use 1 keyboard, 1 monitor and 1 mouse on 2 computers.
